As a Senior Animator, your role involves creating high-quality animations of characters and elements to convey emotion, movement, action, and personality according to the style of the work. **Key Responsibilities:** - Experience in animating for feature films, VFX, TV series, ride films, or games - Passion and ability in animating character performance and lip sync - Flexible approach to setting and maintaining high standards within the group while staying focused on deadlines - Ability to animate a shot from blocking through final animation with minimum supervision - Openness to direction and embracing change - Mentoring and assisting entry-level animators - Willingness to learn, contribute to the team's success, and proactively escalate technical issues - Assisting with project clean up and archiving on an ongoing basis **Qualifications Required:** - Degree or equivalent in classical animation, film, or related field, or equivalent production animation experience - Ability to script in Python and MEL is essential - Strong sense of animation basics, acting, staging, posing, weight, timing, storytelling, and staying on model - Understanding of the language of the camera including framing, perspective, lenses, coverage, continuity, camera movement, and blocking - Proficiency in camera animation work such as laying out shots and staging - Team player with exemplary communication skills - Ability to debug and troubleshoot technical issues - Adaptability to a dynamic pipeline and contribution to it, with a strong understanding of traditional animation principles - Extensive knowledge of Maya is necessary - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well under pressure **Brownie Points:** - Previs experience is a plus - Knowledge of rigging is an advantage - Understanding of human and animal anatomy and life drawing skills The company is located in Hyderabad.,
