Best Lender Team!

Gabrielle, Bailey, John and Amber were all amazing to work with. They were available and communicated whenever updates were needed. They were so positive and worked hard to make our dream home happen!

Neighbor's made our first time home buying process less intimidating.

As a first time homebuyer, the loan process was initially quite intimidating. With the help of Neighbor's Bank, we were able to easy understand each step in the process. Our loan team was available for any questions/concerns we had, no matter how trivial they seemed. Everyone was incredibly friendly and responsive.

I wouldn’t recommend

I wouldn’t recommend this lender for anyone who is looking to get a break. I got denied a 20k loan for a mobile home with a 7k down payment because I have student loans payments that don’t begin until 2029. They never replied to my emails and lack professional communication.

Neighbors bank made my dreams come true…

Neighbors bank made my dreams come true! Thanks to the help of their wonderful loan team and quick pre-approval, together we made things happen that I couldn’t have imagined! In 30 short days, I became a first time home buyer! A lot of people warned me about the obstacles of home buying and with neighbors bank, I felt lucky to have such a smooth experience.

Neighbors Bank Mortgage Application Process is Smooth!

Working with Neighbors Bank to secure a mortgage was a pleasant experience. Their staff was pleasant, communicative, and helpful! Uploading documents through their secure site was easy and we received feedback on all information provided to them, never leaving us to wonder if the information provided was sufficient. Our loan officer maintained frequent communication with us and all other interested parties (Realtor, Title Company, Insurance Company, etc.) Our experience was great - we closed on time and we highly recommend Neighbors Bank!

Exceptional Experience!

Over all, it was an incredibly smooth and pleasant experience. I was impressed with how easy everything was. The team helping me, specifically Justina and Chris were outstanding, they made the process even better. Both of them were incredibly helpful and attentive. The automated process was also great. I was never confused about what needed to bd done, my check list was dynamic and it helped me quickly provide what was needed.

Excellent

This was our first home loan experience in many years, so we were very anxious about the process. Jessica Jamison worked with us through the pre-approval process and initial phases of the loan process, and then Kara Muenks walked us through the next steps of getting approved, closing, and finalizing everything. Both of these young ladies were exceptional. They responded quickly to our many, many questions, were patient with us, and kept us up to speed through every step of the way. We went from feeling uncomfortable and anxious to being at ease and confident that we could get through it. Thank you for all of your hard work, professionalism, and kindness.

Tim and JD made the whole experience…

Tim and JD made the whole experience painless. They both supported me and quickly answered all my questions. They took time to build my trust and I always knew they were working hard for me to make sure everything ran smoothly. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. 10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend!

They care about your needs and explain to you the process and tell you exactly what they need from you for the experience to become a successful experience. If you hit a roadblock, they will work hard to find a solution that will help you. Neighbors Bank staff are caring and are there to make your experience a wonderful one!

CANCEL MY LOAN IMMEDIATELY

CANCEL MY LOAN IMMEDIATELY! I do NOT want anymore to do with your loan process. I have a FICO of 830 and have also seemingly descrimanatory behaviour towards me since I am from St. Louis. I also feel this was a bait and scheme from realtor.com and no business for you because you aint my neighbor.

We were pre-approved

We were pre-approved. My husband had a job offer. They claim they could not verify new employer info because of restructuring. They called and ask for employer info, it was the same on promise of employment documents. After the call we didn't hear from them for weeks. After calling through main number I was connected to Amber who informed me that Holley our original loan Officer had left on maternity leave. Then I was told they were waiting for us to pay appraisal and have appraisal done to complete underwriting. This is the scam... they already are going to deny your loan! They took the money did the appraisal and denied us from the previous issue, not able to confirm future employment. The company you pay for the appraisal owns Neighbors Bank. What's more insulting is they lie and say they gave you a different appraisal, and won't allow you to access you application or files when you log in after they deny your loan. They stole our money just like I'm reading they did to others!
