We can`t set our alarm aBack door codet night due to…

We can`t set our alarm at night due to a back door code. There`s been a technician here a couple times now over the past few weeks. After they leave, the alarm sets for a couple nights and then the same problem comes back. it`s frustrating for us and I`m sure for the technicians also.

American Alarm in my opinion #1

American Alarm is on top of notifying their customers when someone without a code enters. Using the Virtual Key to see who comes in and maybe set off in error is a great tool, along with being able to Arm and Disarm remotely. Installation is clean and you'd never know they were there. Easy to add people with access codes or delete them. Recommend them to other businesses in the area to use American Alarm.

Improving!

Improving!

Communication has been rough - random invoices, changed schedules, not everyone in the company on the same page. But this past week I spoke with someone named Jamie who seems to be cleaning things up over there! She was so great - multiple phone calls to make sure we were on the same page and she explained everything really well. She even had the invoices fixed so they made more sense. Very excited to work with Jamie going forward.

Simple visit with over the top performance

The technician was polite, professional and efficient. We simply needed a new battery for one of the monitored smoke alarms. Since it was not a type with which I was familiar, I asked for a technician to do the job. He went above and beyond and checked and replaced all of the related batteries since none had been changed since the original implementation of our system.

American Alarm was there for me when I…

American Alarm was there for me when I needed them with fast and helpful service and installation. My house was ready to close and my town would not approve the Simplisafe smoke and CO2 detectors that were currently installed and monitored so American Alarm literally came 'to the rescue'! I will be eternally grateful! They were amazing in every way ... would highly recommend!!!

My experience teaming with American…

My experience teaming with American Alarm covers a span of twenty years and we are still counting! I have had few problems which tells me AA is doing a great job to monitor my home security, alerts when they lose Wi-Fi connections. The Annual service Check-up on the equipment is a bonus. Office support speak to customers verses electronic recorded messages and all service persons (he/she) are polite, and provide helpful tips when necessary. I hope you're convinced the five stars are well deserved.

Prompt, reliable service

Am alarm has always been prompt to respond to any issues, as well as providing excellent monitoring services for which, of course, we are grateful. I have already left a review per your request, but I will Iterate that a regularly scheduled check up would be much appreciated, rather than us always needing to call to schedule this service. Also, much of our equipment is 12+ yrs old, and we’re wondering if an audit might reveal necessary upgrades? Otherwise, we have been very happy with American Alarm for many years. Thank you. SGL

The American Alarm technician came to…

The American Alarm technician came to our home to install new smoke and CO detectors which were recently outdated. He was on time, knew the details of and how to check the system, correct any faults discovered. Simple stated, he was a professional and to his credit was instructive, explaining why he was doing what he was doing.

Good technical support at house

Good technical support at house. It would have been helpful, though, for the tech on the phone a few days before to know more about the set-up of various key pads. That would have avoided a $200+ service call to the house to insert the new password for my wifi router. I could have done it myself if the tech on the phone had understood the layout of my keypad even after I described it to him.

Excellent service

We were given an appointment the day after we initially called, and the knowledgeable technician arrived as scheduled. He fixed the problem at that visit.
I have worked with American Alarm for decades. They are helpful and very responsive. I highly recommend them!

We had to put in a new digital system

We had to put in a new digital system, since our original system was 35 years old. It took quite a while for them to send us an estimate for the work. The technician who installed the system was wonderful, but the system didn't work. We called to report this, and new parts were installed quickly. Then, I got a call several weeks later asking, telling me that they had just gotten the repair call. There is obviously some inefficiencies in their office, although each time I have had to call, they have been very polite and pleasant.

alarm keeps tripping.

connection was a bit of an issue, the gentleman had to come back twice but he was super friendly and tried his best with the used equipment he was sent to setup.
I can not really use the system that I am paying for because my cat keeps setting the alarm off.

We Had An Issue

We had an issue with co2 alarms. They had the problem fixed the next business day.
We have had several alarm companies at this location in the last 50 years and none compares to Americsn Alarm for service by professionals.
