Great tasting food but I am concerned…

Great tasting food but I am concerned about food safety. Three times recently I received boxes that had split or open individual meals inside the box. I stopped my subscription while I review the issue. I am a food safety expert and I do hope that CookUnity is paying attention to this issue. I'd like to start receiving meals again but I need some assurances that the meal packaging is fixed. There must not be any qiality control as all of these compromised meals were very visibly crushed or split. Ouside shipping box had no damage so that leaves the lack of oversight on packaging.

Expensive. Expires. Mid

Expensive. Expires. Mid.
Food is mid and portions are a little small. It’s upscale tv dinner.
You have to order a week at a time, but it all expires within a few days.
Pricing is confusing, and they will absolutely not tell you upfront how much it will cost. Website never mentions shipping charges, fees, or after-promotion base pricing.

The dishes are delicious seasoned well…

The dishes are delicious seasoned well and very easy to prepare. The portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh. The combinations of the main dish and side dishes are very complimentary along with the pre-prepared sauces and toppings. We really feel like we are eating restaurant quality food. Frozen food from the grocery store cannot compare. We love it!!

Delivery time was pretty spot on. Expiration date too soon

Delivery time was pretty spot on and the delivery person did place my items in the refrigerator that's in my apartment building's mailroom. I do wish we had more than two or three days before the expiration date to consume the food though. I had to reduce my meal plan.

very difficult to communicate with you…

very difficult to communicate with you to cancel after my trial week and I got billed for food i didn't order. Please refund my $ 95.00 dollars. Food was not to my satisfaction. I got it because we have been to Michelle Bernsteins restaurants and watch her show. All I needed to talk to someone especialyy when your launching a new business.

The food is good

The food is good. I love the convenience and the process of elimination of plastics and cardboard. Other services made it very hard for me to get rid of packaging.
I have had two meals so far with missing ingredients. Both were missing sauces; consequently, the meal was very dry.

The food is OK except the use…

The food is OK except the use by/expiration date comes before Sunday it doesn't have shelf life for the week also some of them expire by Tuesday therefore I've having to toss them

Tasty food

I loved the flavors of to the foods, tasted fresh. I also appreciated that the veggies were still toothsome, not mushy. Different flavors and great variety.

First time delivery

We first had a delivery issue timing, but your customer service arranged so we could get delivered when we were home (which was important to us).
So far, we have tried 4 different meals X2 and they were all excellent.

Best online meal service I’ve ever used!

So pleasantly surprised by this meal service. I’ve used several others and never have I been so satisfied with all the options, portion sizes and the quality of the meals!

My first week with Foodunity and I am very happy

My first week with Foodunity and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and flavors. I have had 3 meals, all were excellent. I couldn’t believe the vegetable that were supposed to be crunchy actually were! Meat is tender, pasta is not soggy, Wow! I am happy with the portions, they are perfect for me but if I were a man maybe it would not be enough?
My only complaints are not about the food. I wish the site was easier to use and you could pause future weeks easier. It seems I have to wait until a week before my travel to pause? Trying to navigate and do things weeks in advance (even having access to menus) is not available allowing only a week or so out. Also, I would not order more than 4 meals a week as they need to be consumed pretty fast or they will expire. Aside from this, I am very pleased.

Great Customer Service!

The customer service response was both quick and helpful. I’m new to CookUnity, and I was having trouble managing my addresses and upcoming orders. The representatives were friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to not only assist me with a quick resolution, but also helped explain the process and how to manage it if the same problem arose again. Always appreciate knowing you can get fast and reliable support whenever you need it!

BUILD YOUR LIST OF GO TO MEALS

I love that you can order any dish and decide whether or not you like it enough to add to your list of things you want to reorder. Before you know if, you have a whole selection of meals that you have tried and know that you love and you can't go wrong. The food is delicious!

I LOVED every single dish I tried

I LOVED every single dish I tried! Delicious! My only complaint/concern is with packaging. I don’t love those giant ice packs or gaining a collection of reusable bags. If I could send them back to be reused I would very much like that! I realize having prepared, packaged food isn’t exactly the most eco-friendly option, but I try to be as green as I can.

The food was good but very strongly…

The food was good but very strongly seasoned.. Too much fat and sugar for a true Mediterranean diet plus the cross-contamination sent my daughter to the ER with a very serious allergic reaction..If you have no diet or allergy requirements these meals are amazing if you do have diet or allergy concerns steer clear.

Meals are delicious

Meals are delicious. The portions although adequate, could use a smidge more to make it perfect. The meals arrive rock solid frozen which is understandable, but I feel this should be explained a little better in terms or meal preparation. If not defrosted properly, the cook time could jump from 15 to 35 min at 350. We don’t use microwaves and are very environmentally conscious. So we appreciate the packaging (aside from the plastic film). I wish there was a new innovative cooking vessel that were simultaneously good for the planet but equally as good at heating up food.

Naming matters

When ordering a Caesar salad I expect a Caesar salad not just ceaser dressing , when I order an aioli I expect an aioli. In cooking how name something matters, it defines a recipe and expectations.

Quality food, easy to make

Fresh food, great flavors, quality ingredients, excellent chefs! The food tasted like it had come straight from a restaurant. Definitely will be a repeat customer!
