Informative and helpful

I have been very happy with the service I have received from Consumer Energy Solutions.
In January 2023 I had loft insulation completed and Lloyd Rosser was in charge of this. He was very helpful and informative.
Following that I had solar panels inserted in the roof of my bungalow. It was quite a lengthy process but at all times I was informed of what was happening. All the men who worked on these were also very helpful.
The main person that I spoke to at Consumer Energy Solutions (Nick Knowles) was amazing and helped me all through the process.

Excellent Customer Care

From the first point of contact, the team were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Every detail was explained with clarity. Questions and concerns were encouraged, the team were very reassuring at all times. Emails responded to promptly. I dealt mainly with Tom Mattocks and Kyle Clarke, their customer care was excellent throughout the whole process.

A positive experience

All the different contractors were extremely polite, tidy, efficient and skilled. The work was carried out to a high standard and the few minor snagging issues (to be expected on a project of this size) were resolved promptly and without question. Communication from head office was very good, and the representatives there were as helpful and polite as the contractors. Overall, our experience was excellent.

When I first spoke to the advisor on…

When I first spoke to the advisor on the phone I was waiting for him to say I would have to pay towards the cost. However after having time to read the information he sent me, I decided to continue with the process. At no charge to me. The installation was done and I am very pleased with the job and results.

The two installers who came were very good , Calum and Tom , very clean and tidy , kept us informed all the way through the air source heat pump , radiators and piping , well done guys

The quality of tradesmen was in general…

The quality of tradesmen was in general good apart from the solar panel fitting team. The whole process took longer than quoted and anticipated and we had a few issues with getting problems resolved. However, once the work was completed we were happy with the end result.
If I had to make one complaint it would be with the communication. We had several missed appointments and workmen turning up to do work which they either didn’t have the correct equipment or that the work had already been completed.

A complete let down after waiting seven…

A complete let down after waiting seven months for our eco4 fitting. All surveys completed and start dates discussed then sudden shock of u turn news of not funded to do the work. Never warned us that once approved this could be the outcome so left fully approved by the council and ready to go before another cold winter without an installer. Quite frankly has caused us an enormous amount of stress and expense for absolutely nothing in return. Told frequently they care but even after saying we would be flexible with dates if helps, they will not do.

Can't recommend these guys highly…

Can't recommend these guys highly enough.
All the teams were professional, polite and friendly.
They were there when they said they were going to be there, all the work was carried out to a very high standard and when they'd finished everything was cleared up.
We would definitely use this company again and as for the system itself...looks after itself the house is consistently running at the temperature set and we've seen our energy bill come down.
More than happy with everything done. Thank you CES

WASTE OF TIME, USE ANOTHER COMPANY

They did surveys and started prep work then heard nothing from this company for months. I rang to be told they didn't have the budget to complete the work. Wasted months waiting around for nothing. Look elsewhere for a more reliable company. I know of others who have had similar poor experiences with this company.

Was dreading inside insulation being…

Was dreading inside insulation being done, being allergic to plasterboard/plaster dust aswell as a single parent to a under 18 month old.
However I was sent skilled professionals, who were respectful, prompt on time, clean and went above and beyond to help make sure everything was in order before leaving.
If you get sent Jayson and/or Aaron you have nothing to worry about, and I'm more than happy with my experience and end result.

CES Energising my world

CES started work this week installing insulation and solar panels . It is only the first week of the installation but I wanted to make a review on the solar panel installation team Calum and Tom for there professional , polite and good humoured approach to the installation . Proceed with caution

Boarders were amazing but after that team left, the problems and issues we had are too long to fully list. Our biggest complaints that we filed: ruined all our carpets across our entire house, didn't relay or refit them, broken tile on roof of house not replaced, they blamed us, electrical work was shocking (excuse the pun!); if only we could upload photos, no-one would need to read anymore reviews! Holes left in the walls, wires exposed, sockets hanging off the walls, data box back on upside down, leaks in ceiling staining paint work, no hot water for 3 weeks, plasterers were so messy and dragged the job out, attending only a couple of hours at a time and the heat pump just threw fault code after fault code for months, costing us a fortune in unnecessary electricity bills.

The company employ excellent tradespeople who are skilled in their various trades. Work was carried out on specified days and times as agreed. Follow up inspections found few if any snags which were quickly rectified.
