Our Story
It was all an airstream dream…
Thea founded Eco Now in 2018 as a way to provide an affordable resource for the Orange County community to help people reduce unnecessary waste. She began by hand-sewing reusable products, such as eco-towels and eco-rounds, and offering them at the Placentia Certified Farmer's Market.
Thea continued to serve Orange County residents who wanted accessibility to a sustainable lifestyle by attending other Farmer's Markets at Orange Homegrown, Downtown Fullerton, Newport Beach, SoCo in Costa Mesa, and many more.

In January 2020, eco now grew quickly into a brick and mortar storefront at The L.A.B. (Little American Business) in Costa Mesa. Eco Now in the airstream trailer became the first zero waste store in Orange County. There were plans to celebrate the grand opening of eco now’s zero waste store in March 2020, but the pandemic began and it stopped what would’ve been Eco Now, Costa Mesa’s grand opening.
After the start of the pandemic, Eco Now quickly adjusted to the "new normal" and became an essential resource for others when hand sanitizers, hand soap, reusable facemasks, and toilet paper were scarce. Eco Now continued to operate following CDC guidelines and Thea still attended farmer's markets to be a resource for her community.
