This company is incredibly well run by people who truly care. I joined a few months ago and have loved the sense of community in this group. I’m currently at my 4th exchange in the beautiful Alberta, planning what time I’ll go see the northern lights tonight— only possible because of this amazing group!

My first exchange was great, the couple that stayed at my house were perfect guests, the communication was great, like I knew them already. All other communication with potential guests is also great, the community seems very friendly.

People like us allowed us to travel the world so much more easily. The site is easy to use and trustworthy. In addition to find houses exchanges, you can get to know wonderful people and they can help you to make your trip more interesting and off the path.
This site works on trust between people thanks to the review system which is better than points or credits.You do a step aside from capitalism for a better world.

PLU has changed our lives. As we embark on more time for travel in our lives, we no have the entire world of homes available to us at no cost!
But maybe even more valuable than the homes themselves are the friendships we’ve made, the sense of community and belonging, and a new type do travel for us: Living the lives of others, exploring off the beaten path, making friends of our hosts’ neighbours and friends.
After 40 years of world travel to 45 countries, this has been by far the BEST way to travel and it’s something that money cannot buy.
For the price of a cheap hotel room, it’s so worth getting an annual and trying it out for yourself. Words cannot do the experience justice.

We find the experience on the platform to be a tremendous value for the money. The set up of our home photos and descriptions was quick and easy. Questions are answered promptly and members themselves are terrific resources. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I think the PLU idea and community is very good. I paid my membership fee and became a Premium Member immediately without the trial period. Since joining 5 July 2024 I have had a wonderful exchange and have two more in process.

A wonderful community of like minded people who are interested in exploring the world and enjoy the opportunity to live like a local rather than staying in a hotel. We have been lucky enough to exchange homes with and also meet some of the most generous people on our travels and every exchange has been a positive experience.

The home exchange process is swift and easy. Members answer promptly and nicely to inquiries. It took me very little time to find an exchange with Auckland. The reversed search was useful to find who was interested in my destination. I recommend People Like Us.

People like us has changed the way we think about traveling. We have spoken to and met so many wonderful people because of people like us, and are right now traveling in Switzerland while writing this review.
Our trip to Switzerland happened only because of people like us, else visiting this gorgeous country, second time in one year, wasn’t possible.

Drew is always quick to address any questions or issues. There is nothing that is off the table to discuss which makes People Like Us a very transparent company that has our best interests at heart. Drew and company hold themselves to a high standard of accountability but somehow are able to do it always with kindness and compassion.

Recently joined PLU and have just agreed our first exchange for next summer. The process has been very smooth.
Everything is well explained and there is lots of helpful advice on the Facebook group.
I love that there are a variety of different ways of exchanging and exchanges need not take place simultaneously.

We've been members of PLU for a while now and can vouch for the fact that the people we've exchanged with really have been just like us! Beautiful clean homes in great places.
We just completed a 7 week road trip up the Pacific NW coast of America from Palm Springs to Canada and back, staying exclusively in PLU member's homes. Even if we'd used basic AirBNB or motels, this would have cost us around $8,000 in accommodation alone and most of the places wouldn't even have come close to the quality of the homes and second homes we stayed in.

People like us is more a community of wonderful people exchanging homes. The people jump in and help you if something doesn’t work out or help when you need advice or what to do in a place. Once you become a part of it, you’ll never leave because your exchangers become your friends and sometimes you even consider them your family. The CEO and all the administrators are so responsive if you have a question or need help. Can’t say enough about how wonderful it is to be part of this community.
