The ordering and delivery process was easy and fast. Packaging for shipping needs package straps to help delivery people move the heavy awkward box. The Box was fairly torn up on arrival. Protection inside for the widest parts/wheel axles would be good. Fortunately, I can work on bikes and was able to work out the kinks. No major damage.
As for the bike itself. It is amazing! I love it and have ridden almost every day. Everything is working as it should. It is so comfortable and fun! It is exactly what I was wanting and apparently what I needed to get back cycling again.
My only request at this point is some directions/video for removing/disconnecting the back wheel.

I've enjoyed my two dolphin e-bikes for a couple of years now, but when the controller went out on one of them, I was impressed how quickly support helped me diagnose and fix the problem. In just a few days the new controller arrived, I installed it and was back on the road again!

Purchased a Qualisports Dolphin+ after spending many hours of research, comparing different brands and reading reviews. Liked it so much, we ordered a Model 5 for my wife. The bikes are beautifully made and include things we see as important if you are considering an e-bike; hydraulic brakes and NO quick release wheels. These are both safety items we looked for and Qualisports is one of few mfrs that do both of these! Looking forward to many years of enjoyment from these bikes.

Qualisports responded to my inquiry the very same day and shipped me the needed part the day after. My old school Dolphin is as good as new. I kinda wish it would break so I would have an excuse to buy a brand new Dolphin with the extra battery.

It is my update for my review around three years ago: We purchased 2 Voladors to ride trails in the tri-state area. Recently, we changed the car from an Acura RDX to a Tesla Y after figuring out how to fit both bikes into the trunk: you need to remove the sit-post/battery before lifting the bike into the trunk. Two benefits: the bike becomes much lighter for lifting; after the ride, it is much easier to set up the separated from the bike battery for charging in your garage or home.
Our Voladors serve us well while riding and hide safely in the trunk while enjoying the rest of the trip outside the bike trails. You can fit the third Volador into the Tesla Y trunk by folding the middle sit-down.

The dolphin needs more torque when using throttle, also needs faster acceleration, takes too long to come up to speed. The headlight wire is not long enough for proper installation of front rack. So you wind up losing space in front rack because of headlight. Other than those two issues it’s a pretty solid bike and decent value...

Customer service was always attentive and helpful. Just got my bike 2 days ago, and took the first ride today--love it! Set up was a bit frustrating--the included tool kit did not have all the correct size allen wrenches for the job (but fortunately my husband did). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the very brief owner's "manual," which is really a pamphlet, and other sketchy diagrams/information. Had to watch and read several things online to figure out how to set up and operate the bike properly.

Items arrived promptly. The Volador is a very good small folding e-bike. I just wish the instructions for assembly were better, especially for the fenders. I figured out on my own how to connect the battery. It took some trial-and-error to figure out that the headlight gets mounted above the front wheel. Maybe just insert a sheet pointing to a Youtube video would help: I found one for fenders but not in combination with a rear rack.

The bike is great and exactly as expected or better. The instructions to assemble is a video, which runs too fast, darken when paused, and lacks detail...While the bike is 95% assembled, they really need a written document to go along with the user guide for folks who are not bike techs. They were helpful when sending a email with questions.

3 out of 3 Belugas delivered had minor scratches on the paint (fenders and front fork) Also derailleur hangers bent needing straightened on all 3. Suggest better packaging on those areas and perhaps including touch up paint in the box.

We really enjoy our Qualisports Dolphin bikes. We love traveling with them as they fold and fit easily into our truck's back seat area and can be put in and taken out quickly because of their relatively light weight.
Once unfolded, they are a fun bike to ride too. We have ridden these bikes on many trails now in many states as we travel and plan for many more miles of smiles! Cheers to 'getting out there' and having fun!

I bought a dolphin. It arrived in perfect condition except for a bent front sprocket. I was able to straighten it. The disk brakes were rubbing and required adjustments (thank you YouTube). The fenders are difficult to put on especially with the rear rack I also added. The bike is really fast and powerful. I can fit both dolphins in the back my van (my wife has one too.) Adventures await!

I like my Volador! There were delays in production over the winter but QS compensated with free accessories. Liz Xu ,marketing manager, kept me informed of the bike's progress to delivery. It arrived in good shape except the rear fender was dented during shipping. They have offered to pay for repairs. I haven't started looking for who can un-dent it. Very happy with the bike so far. Quick basic setup and everything is working properly.
