There was a scam seller on Vinted who I purchased from without reading his reviews which was zero, So Vinted refunded me after 2 weeks. Takes a while but They they do refund buyers if the seller is a scammer.

Mixed feelings with Vinted

Mixed feelings with Vinted. It's fine if the transaction went smoothly. Love the idea buyer generates postage label, no agreement on the cost.
Some of the buyer are terrible. 1 person did not raise any issue and then wanted her £1 refund after the transaction is completed. However I shouldn't blame Vinted for buyers misbehaving.

Recently sold an item and was damaged…

Recently sold an item and was damaged during transit. Got so worried 😟 as I made sure to wrap all cups securely and even added extra padded between the box and the cup. Somehow the mishandling of the box caused them to break even with written word FRAGILE all over the box. Vinted refunded both buyer and seller after careful investigation.
Took Vinted a while to respond but it was nicely sorted and that both parties were happy 😊.
I feel safe and secure with vinted as I know that my issues will always be seen to. Thank you Vinted. Hope that you continue the great service and support for all members 🙌🏽

All worth £80 and under all went off fine no issues with the buyers or the money being paid out in time no fees is a bonus, although eBay are now offering zero fees to some sellers.

Vinted has zero HUMAN customer support…

Vinted has zero HUMAN customer support its all AI and its bad. They have deteled several of my designer brand items claiming they are either the wrong brand which they are not, obviously i know which brand they are, spaically the ones i bought IN the shop, and its shown on the labels, or they are fake when they are not. Ive submitted a claim, which was automatically invalidated with an AUTOMATED message signed by some human name to make it appear it was a human but its NOT a human as from the response, (which is always the same one by the way), I can tell noone read the claim explaining all the details I have submitted. so I am tired of their greed in saving up in not having real human customer support and their 100 % disregards of the people who use this app which is unnaceptable. they loose as there are much better platoforms to sell fashion so we sellers have options.

I have bought an item from Vinted I have tried to contact customer support for days and all I’m greeted with is an automated response . I have never received this item and want my money returned the seller has block me and I’m out of pocket

The worst customer support I’ve ever experienced!

The worst customer support I’ve ever experienced!

My account was blocked. Then, in the chat, customer support wrote to me as if I check the chat every day, so I missed their message. They decided to close my appeal without answering or helping after I messaged them again. Why don’t you send emails about new messages on Vinted chat? I am so disappointed. I really like this product, but the customer support is just awful.

IWE've only just opened a Vinted…

WE've only just opened a Vinted acccount, and was shocked to find out our account was locked, and that we were both 'temporarily, andthen, 'fully banned' from their web site. Our only redress is to open an appeal.
Why?
We're not criminals after all?
The first time their 'Artificial Intelligence' appears to have identified we'd contravened one of their umpteen rules or regulations. This ocurred when I was attempting to enter my credit card details, but We've no idea what caused the glitch to warrent an automated warning from Vinted.
Ouir accoint was still active and we put an item on the site, which has been sold.
Today my wife started a new sale, but realised she couldn't add the details because she'd put too many items on, instead of only one. So she believed she was deleting the photos, but got an instant message to say the account was 'blocked' and that we were 'banned'.
However, I thought this was a bit harsh, and we did write to Vinted explaining what had happened, although we're still not sure what exactly we've done wrong, and was surprised to receive a message to say they think 'the error was caused by them', and that our account has been unblocked.
We're still having difficulty negotiating around their selling page, and find it a bit of a headache to be honest, unlike 'Gumtree' which is a piece of cake by comparison.

I think by far this selling app is one…

I think by far this selling app is one of the best. Although I am familiar with sellers from other apps who are coming to the Vinted site now due to failing sales on other apps. . I wish them luck. But they are bringing their prices with them. Vinted is a frugal site where buyers find true bargains at unbelievable
prices. It may best to price their merchandise competitively and at least get a sale or two. The higher priced have many likes but they are not selling. I shop to find incredible bargains which I do find. Some of these sellers especially the vintage jewelry are on several different apps at once and the prices are all different. Most apps are failing out there due to poor management in marketing, Vinted has no spam, good monitoring and excellent customer service. But the Vinted is staying strong I see. They don't have that waisted share thing every two seconds . The other apps wasted time and effort no to no avail. The days when all the apps were great are long gone. Many have trashed the sites. Vinted is much more strict and will ban you immediately if the policies are broken. This prevents their app from being trashed. It's trash proof. Being a very good thing. Sellers however must realize that the pricing has to be competitive or their closet will go stale real quick. Then out of business they go. Time to get another job I guess. Keep up the good work vinted. I spread the word as much as possible knowing that there are still great unbeatable deals out there on this app.

The buyer protection is a scam

The buyer protection is a scam. You will not get a refund. 2 items arrived smashed due to poor packing & injured me. The seller could have claimed with the courier to recoup her loss but didn't. Vinted wanted me to send BROKEN GLASS in the post & pay. I am.left with no refund. The Customer Service are passive aggressive or a bot that copy pastes random generic responses. Absolutely disgusting platform using loopholes to scam people.

In general I Like the ease of choosing…

In general I Like the ease of choosing and even sometimes bargaining for a second-hand item. Since my child is growing out of things quickly, it’s a great way to get to second-hand items that are still in a good state for less money.

However, if you have a problem with shipping etc not receiving an item I have made different experiences.
Once it was easily tackled, transaction was canceled and package was sent back to sender and we started the process over. But another time the parcel was shipped to the pick-up point, however the pick-up point stopped its service and gave everything back to the shipping company. I get it’s an exceptional situation. However, I tried over weeks to get in touch with the shipping company and they told me vinted is in charge which has been a process of weeks and a lot of nerves too. Vinted gives me deadlines to respond (like within 48 or 24h hours), otherwise they would close the case and it would be marked as delivered, hence I would pay.
Also, I received out of a sudden in an email thread, which was solely in English, an email in German. Luckily I do speak German and understood but for others I can imagine that they would just click it away and label it not case-related or else. So that is definitely spoiling my overall experience and I think twice now to order via vinted since it’s been costing me too much time and energy.

Absolute SH*TE!!!!

Absolute SH*TE!!!!
Scanned £260. Reported seller. Nothing. Contacted them through their shocking “customer services” in messaging. Auto replied and just send link with terms and conditions. Seller got my money or rather scammer did. Fake tracking!!!! Has scammed another two people. WTF VINTED!!!!!!!!!! need more internet laws to get this scum to cough up

Void in their Terms and Coditions which damages the sellers

Worst selling platform ever sold on. As seller you have zero value for them. A buyer made a fake claim on a damaged item inside the box which was not possible since outer box arrived whole. After submitting my photos which proved how the item was sent and that the outer box was still whole, they still took the buyers side and they even let him keep the items so i end up with nothing. After contacting support multiple times, the same answer again and again, no actual discussion, just their terms and conditions.

Terrible!

Terrible! Dreadful policies,such as no refunds if you buy something that is significantly different than advertised, allowing bad feedback about buyers that have received such items, when it's the sellers that are selling dirty, damaged etc items, and no refunds on return postage if the seller does accept the return of faulty items. Buyers beware...eBay is far superior with excellent customer service for both buyers and sellers.

dpd is not reliable.

I once sent a package with DPD, but the person I sent it to never received it, and she didn’t get a refund. Vinted ignored the issue, and I feel that DPD is not very reliable.

The customerservice is getting worse…

The customerservice is getting worse and worse. If you can find a way to contact hem - because that's a hassle in itself - you only get automated responses and absolutely no help. "You need to take it up with the seller", but the seller is absolutely unhelpful and was the one at fault in the first place, so that's why I'm asking for help... but still the only response is a copy paste from the helpdesk texts and a "take it up with the seller" again.

It is a good platform IF your buyer

It is a good platform IF your buyer, seller is a correct person, otherwise you have no power to do anything. The company itself: customer service is somewhat a joke. You write them to address an issue or a scam and they are shroug their shoulders. My first big issue was about a children boots, it was used ( norvergian girly name an phone number in the boots ona sticker ) and the seller totally wanted to continue to lie about it.
I did not get any useable answer from the CS, like they didnt even understand my problem. I think they just don’t care.
I know that they are almost have no liability with the transactions, but the platform handle our money, so there should be

STAY AWAY

Stay away from Vinted !!!!! Is been 10 days since my account was suspended with 500 € on account, every day i provide everything they ask for “identity verification “ but keep coming same automatic response from a robot!!!
Support doesn’t exist, I beg to speak with someone from Vinted but they don’t want or they don’t give a f..k !! They are after your money!!!
Biggest scam second hand company from history!!!!!!!

Again second order really bad

Ordered some Pokemon stuff for my kid with buyer insurance , DHL sad order delivered .

Robotic replys

Furious

I sold 5 items to a seller 4 of them was missing on arrival and she didn’t want the other item

I received my item smashed
Vinted are saying that’s what was reported from burr and I accepted

Even though I’ve got messages of the buyer confirming that’s not the case

Robots replying constantly

My item is for for the bin now what was originally £70 item is now in the bin

Robot replys I am furious and will not rest untill this is resolved
