We are utterly disappointed and feel mistreated

We are utterly disappointed and feel mistreated.

We started the process with this brokerage firm, relying on the reviews we found here, for the purchase of the house we planned to buy. However, from the beginning to the end of the process, we were completely let down. I am writing this review to warn others not to trust this firm's reviews as we did.

Throughout the process, we were not adequately updated. Documents we had already submitted were requested from us again three or four times. Despite repeatedly asking for updates and information about the process, our emails and calls were left unanswered, and we could not find anyone to speak to.

Later, they informed us that our application had been declined, likely due to their own mistake of failing to submit a document we had already sent. They said that if we resubmitted the document, our process would continue. However, we received a letter from the bank stating that our application had been canceled.

Unfortunately, these were the situations we faced during the process. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. The excitement of buying our first home was completely ruined.

After a consultation with Lewis the…

After a consultation with Lewis the mortgage advisor the rest of our journey was left to Megan the senior personal mortgage progresser. Megan kept us updated at each milestone from what was admittedly a very picky lender but was all worth it in the end.

Carly - Home Move Mortgage Advice

Carly was extremely helpful throughout our application, the research she conducted prior to our meeting meant we were wasting very little time and she knew exactly was she was talking about when referring to our circumstances.
Felt the advice we received was clear, and in our best interest. Also speaking with her you can tell she understands the industry and where to look.
Will certainly use again and would be happy to refer anybody onto her.

My very first mortgage and NHMH were…

My very first mortgage and NHMH were instrumental with their support despite the many hurdles along the way. They adapted at every juncture and delivered. I dealt with a number of people at the company including Megan T, Zoe B, Justina V and Scott F. They were all easy to communicate with and knowledgeable.

A fabulous start!

I don't normally write a review after only one step in a process but having had a really stressful week and trying to get some finance information out of someone else I came to NHM via a happy accident. Within a couple of hours of me doing an online check I've had calls, had some questions answers and my mind has been settled. I am looking forward to the next stages of buying a house, rather than being terrified, thanks to Sarah

It wasn’t so easy to secure a mortgage…

It wasn’t so easy to secure a mortgage for me as a self employed 67 year old female.
Julia Vernon and Errol Zajac-Jones have been amazing at all times. I have an agreed mortgage offer in place thanks to their skills.
Julia in particular kept me informed with regular updates, even on her day off !
I thoroughly recommend this service. Professional, enthusiastic and reassuring when the going gets tough. Thanks to the Team

Very patient, friendly and knows their job

The advisor I spoke with was so patient and very friendly. Henna just raised the bar of customer service! Henna spoke with so much grace and explained the intricacies of mortgage to me and I can confidently say I now understand what the journey looks like end-to-end. Exceptional Service..! Definitely recommend to Others

Can not go wrong with these people…

Have to say from start to finish the experience I had with New Homes Mortgage Helpline was spot on.

I think I hit the jackpot with Raabia who answered my call, She was on point, honest, kept to any call back within the minute. The advice and follow up information was what was needed, and really has made the process so far fault free.

Really appreciated Raabia time and effort in going off and finding all information, carry out of evaluations and then coming back with what was needed within a couple of hours.

Highly recommended company and makes buying a home that bit less stressful.

Thanks to Kyle Whiteley

My wife and I have just spoken with Kyle at NHMH provisionally to get an agreement in principal so as to put a reserve on a new home. He made the process very easy and was very pleasant to chat to, even laughing at some of my wise-cracks.
