We love everything except we put in for specific dates for another sit and we get notifications that do not match our sit. The email notifications are a lot, but do not match our saved advert. The stay we just had was fantastic.

Nomador was a dream come true for us! As soon as we posted our search for a house/cat sitter, we received 4 offers. We chose the one that we thought would be best (and he was!) suited for our rather challenging home situation (extremely rural and cold, rough winters). Easy communication and we felt assured through Nomador's vetting process. Highly recommended.

I especially like the diversity of countries & places that are offered as well as being predominately french. One of my favourite sits was in France. Also like that sites & sits are offered in different languages. Just wish that my French was better. Nomador feels more personal and less corporate than other house sitting platforms.

There are no sort criteria so it’s really difficult to sort for those sitters who are available during the requested time slots, or have dog experience, or speak English. Was given a list of over 12,000 potential sitters to slog through. Adjusting our profile page is also challenging, such as removing requested times we need someone if plans change. Website needs improvement though sitters we’ve met have been great!

We chose Nomador for a big choice of French destinations as we wanted to visit France. The web site is very easy-to-use and you can make your own searches according to your preferences. We are happy to have chosen Nomador and will recommend them!

I was disappointed to find out that it is not possible to give negative reviews. I have had 2 great experiences out of 4. 1 out of 4 was very disappointing. I had to repair my bathroom because the person has let water stagnated long enough to create obvious damages. Not to mention 1 day of house cleaning, crumbles left in the bedroom and everywhere in the house (not great when you live in the countryside and have to watch out for mice and ants), laundry needed to be redone because the person was obviously not aware of a weight limit...she also went in my bedroom which was off-limit (objects were on the floor which was very unusual) etc. So it's all good...when everything is going well. Else, you cannot even say something is wrong because apparently "negative" equals "subjective"... I took more than 20 pictures of things that were not ok...cleaning not done etc...as a result, I am done with nomador. I do not want to try again. The only way to say you are not happy is to refuse to give a review. You may want to watch out for these refusals.

As a long-time house sitter, (15 years), and member of several other match-up sites, I find Nomador unique. I have interviewed the owner, who consequently became a friend. Right away, I appreciated the founder's business principles--full of respect for the house sitting/traveling community, and not just in it for the money.
The homeowners I've met on Nomador are in their own category. I'll call them 'good souls,' those who have become lifelong friends. Many homeowners I've met on other sites are also wonderful folks, but on Nomador, it seems so consistently true.

I have had over 5 multi-week house sits thru Nomador. All have been fantastic, with people I’ve enjoyed meeting and who I’d welcome back again. My cats and home were well cared for in every situation. I love this service. I’ve recommended it to many friends.

We have used Nomodor a few times & find that it is a good system for both house sitters and those looking for a house sitter. We have never had any problems finding a house sitter.
Personal checks on address, identity etc are reassuring and also the fact that there is an entity one can contact should problems arrive.So far, we have had no problems!

Nomador has given us a truly brilliant opportunity to live in a French apartment with an affectionate cat. We loved the chance to get to know a charming local French family who gave us many tips for how to enjoy being tourists in Paris. This honour system is a perfect one for those on a budget.
