69 세티는 적도 별자리에서 약 860광년[1] 떨어진 곳에 위치한 단일[7] 별이다.육안으로는 5.3의 외관상으로 볼 수 있다.[2]이것은 M1/2III의 별 분류를 가진 노화된 적색 거성 별이다.[3]그것은 3,765 K의 유효 온도에서 태양의 광도 100배인 확대 광권으로부터 태양의 1,813배의 광도를 방사하고 있다.[1]
