A Link Between Worlds

The Gear screen in A Link Between Worlds is opened by tapping the "Gear" bar on the bottom of the touchscreen. It displays the icons of Link's equipment and quest items on a maroon background. Tapping on any icon shows a description of it on the upper screen.

The top-left of the Gear screen shows Link's current Sword, Tunic, and Shield. Below these are six spaces for Ravio's Bracelet, the Power Glove or Titan's Mitt, the Pegasus Boots, the Smooth Gem or Zora's Flippers, the Bee Badge, and the Stamina Scroll, with the more powerful items replacing the original ones when obtained. On the right side of the screen is a circular display of the Pendants of Virtue collected, and around those, Portraits of the Sages rescued. Along the bottom, the portion of a Heart Container formed by Link's current Pieces of Heart is shown, followed by his current amount of Rupees, Lost Maiamais, Monster Parts, and Master Ores collected. The number of Master Ores shown is reduced once they are given to the Blacksmith in exchange for tempering the Master Sword, while the number of Lost Maiamais is unchanged by returning them to Mother Maiamai.

Items not shown on the Gear screen include the Captain's Sword (until it becomes the Forgotten Sword), the Bell, the Pouch, and the Triforce of Courage. If Link has learned the Great Spin, it is represented by a small star beside the Sword icon.
