Link's Awakening

In Link's Awakening, the Green Tunic consists of a green cap, a brown undershirt, a green sleeveless shirt, a brown belt with a golden buckle and brown boots. In Link's Awakening for Nintendo Switch, the Green Tunic includes white stockings.

Since Link washed ashore Koholint Island wearing the Green Tunic, he starts his quest with it already equipped.^[1]

Skyward Sword

In Skyward Sword, Link wears a chain mail underneath his Green Tunic to further protect himself.

A Link Between Worlds

The Green Tunic is the default clothing worn by Link from the start of A Link Between Worlds. It is similar to the clothes that Gulley and both of his parents wear, and was in fact fashioned by Gulley's mother.^[4] This could imply that the set of clothes the blacksmiths wear in their trade is green in color and includes a long cap.

Breath of the Wild

In Breath of the Wild, the Green Tunic appears as the Hero of the Wild Set, an Armor Set awarded during "A Gift from the Monks" after completing all 120 Ancient Shrines.

Tears of the Kingdom

In Tears of the Kingdom, every Green Tunic obtainable in Breath of the Wild can be found within Treasure Chests within the Depths. The Of Awakening Set can also be found within Treasure Chests left within Caves by Misko.

A tunic accented with a belt and a pointed hat. Wearing it fills you with courage.

Princess Zelda can obtain the Green Tunic by beating The Final Titans' Gathering, the ultimate Battle Challenge, a Mini-Game located in the Slumber Dojo. A Red version of the Tunic can be obtained by scanning any Link amiibo.

In Hyrule Warriors, at the end of The Armies of Ruin, Link discovers that Zelda is missing after Wizzro's attack on the castle and the rampaging of King Dodongo. Running back to the entrance of the castle, before he was ambushed by Bokoblins, Impa returns the favor after Link saves her from Volga's wrath by stopping the ambush and then hands him the Hero's Clothes showing complete worth and trust in him to be the Hero Hyrule needs.

The Kokiri Tunic, Era of Twilight Tunic, and Knight of Skyloft Tunic are Costumes for Link that are based on the Kokiri Tunic from Ocarina of Time, the Hero's Clothes from Twilight Princess, and the Knight Uniform from Skyward Sword, respectively.
