Biography

Breath of the Wild

Kazul is a Hylian traveler who rides on Horseback between Riverside Stable and Wetland Stable. He carries an Emblazoned Shield and a Traveler's Sword.

On his journey, Kazul will occasionally comfort his Horse.[3][4][5]

As he travels, Kazul will give Link advice and warnings.[6][7][8] On his way to Riverside Stable, Kazul informs him that Kakariko Village is about the same distance from their current location.[9] He also suggests that Link bring a Horse and a Map if he is also going to Riverside Stable.[10][11]

Kazul tells Link to head to Akkala if he is looking for adventure, directing him towards Skull Lake.[12] If Link does go to Akkala, Kazul suggests that he stock up on supplies near the base of Death Mountain.[13] While he is stopped, he will quietly tells Link about the Fang and Bone, which sells special wares at night.[14] He encourages Link to visit the Fang and Bone should he ever find himself at Skull Lake, as it would be an interesting experience.[15]

In addition, Kazul will warn Link to be careful if he enters Hyrule Castle in search of treasure, since he has never been anywhere so dangerous.[16] However, he has heard of a secret entrance to Hyrule Castle, which is located through the inlet behind the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins.[17] He reminds Link that this is simply a rumor, and Kazul even suspects it could have been a story that was spread to catch thieves.[18] Kazul also knows of a secret cave on the west side of the Castle, but none who have entered have returned.[19]

Kazul recommends that Link sell off any extra Gems he has because they are worth a fair amount of Rupees.[20] If Link does this enough, Kazul explains that he will be able to afford pricier gear.[21]
