Overview

The Legend of Zelda

A Link to the Past

Link's Awakening

In Link's Awakening, Link can push various Objects, such as Blocks and Rocks.[21] This can be done to solve puzzles or simply clear out the way.[21] To do so, he must continuously walk into them until they have been Pushed. Link can only move each Pushable Objects once,[21] in any of the four cardinal directions. Their positions can only be reset if Link leaves the area and comes back.

By obtaining the Power Bracelet, Link is able to Push the Tombstones in the Cemetery.[22] In Link's Awakening DX and Link's Awakening for Nintendo Switch, by Pushing them in the correct order, he can find the staircase that leads to the Color Dungeon.[22]

Once Link obtains the Powerful Bracelet, he is able to push the Weathercock located in Mabe Village, allowing him entry to the Bones of the Legendary Flying Rooster.[23] The Weathercock is the only Pushable Object whose position is not reset if Link leaves the area, keeping the entrance open for future visits.
