Features and Overview
Ocarina of Time
The Stable is located in Lon Lon Ranch. It is where the Ranch keeps its Cows, as well as its Horses at night. Ingo can be found working in the Stable when Link is a child. When Link returns as an adult, Malon can be found in the Stable working during the day. After ending Ingo's takeover of the Ranch, Talon will be found in the Stable during the day instead.

Breath of the Wild
Stables are yurt-like structures found throughout Hyrule Kingdom. They are characterized by their giant, Horse-shaped rooftop decorations. They are places where travelers, such as Link, can register and board Wild Horses that they have tamed. In addition, these travelers can seek lodging inside the Stable's main room.[2] The owner of a Stable can instruct Link on how to capture Wild Horses, should he need to know.[4][5] All Stables are connected through a network across Hyrule, allowing Link to call a registered Horse to any of the Stables he visits.[5]
To register a Horse, Link must first catch and domesticate a Wild Horse and bring it to a Stable before speaking to the Stable owner.[5] It is not necessary to ride a Horse while speaking to the Stable owner to register it, as Link can simply bring the Horse near the Stable and speak to the owner. During the registration process, Link is able to view the Horse's qualities, which are based on Strength, Speed, Stamina, Temperament, and Bond to Link, as well as the Horse's headshot. He is also able to name his Horse at this point, provided the name fits within a nine character text limit. Stables only allow patrons to carry a maximum of five Horses, though Horses can be swapped at any time. Stables charge a fee of 20 Rupees each time a Horse is registered to fund their conservation efforts as well as cover the cost of a Saddle and Bridle, which, once paid for, will be automatically put on Link's Horse.[6] After registering a Horse, Link is given the option to board it or to take it with him.[7]
Stables also serve as hubs for the various people of Hyrule, such as the merchant Beedle, or various characters who can provide Side Quests.

Tears of the Kingdom
Although most of the Stables present in Breath of the Wild still remain, there have been some changes, including the addition of two Mini Stables.[8]
Serenne Stable relocated south to North Hyrule Plain after the road west of Carok Bridge was constructed.[9] Due to a lack of customers caused by the Extreme Cold Snap in Hebra, Rito Stable was shut down and most of the residents had to leave.[10][11] Traysi opportunistically purchased the Stable from Galli and converted it into the Lucky Clover Gazette.[12][13]
In addition, all Stables now give off a horseshoe-shaped Smoke Signal.

Let's see... Right around now, he should be canvassing New Serenne Stable. It's a place out to the east, past the Skyview Tower. It used to be somewhere else, but after the new road was built, the place moved to the new location. Seems like it was the right move—business is booming there! I'm not sure if that's why he headed out there though. All he said was "The little birds are calling!" Then he took off with a big grin on his face.

It was a stable much like this one, but in front of Rito Village to the west of here. The big cold snap shut it down though. I think it was replaced by a newspaper company or something. Hebra was always cold, but it's gotten really bad. If you go to Rito Village, you need to prepare for extreme weather.
