If youβve seen The Big Bang Theory, youβve heard of a game called βRock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spockβ. The TV show popularised Sam Kass and Karen Brylaβs expanded version of βRock, Paper, Scissorsβ, which included two more hand gestures, βLizardβ and βSpockβ. Kass and Brylaβs original invention was titled βRock, Paper, Scissors, Spock, Lizardβ, which is more logically correct, but the game is more commonly known as βRock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spockβ.
Iβll let Sheldon Cooper explain the rules of the game to you.
- Scissors cuts Paper
- Paper covers Rock
- Rock crushes Lizard
- Lizard poisons Spock
- Spock smashes Scissors
- Scissors decapitates Lizard
- Lizard eats Paper
- Paper disproves Spock
- Spock vaporizes Rock
- And, as it always has, Rock crushes Scissors
