Hi there, I'm Simon πŸ‘‹

I'm a Computer Science and Engineering Master's student specializing in System-On-Chip/Embedded Systems. While my primary focus is everything within the realm of embedded systems, I thrive on maintaining a wide scope of knowledge that stretches across different domains of software development, including web programming and 3D graphics.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» About Me

  • πŸ” Currently working on: My Master's thesis at Ericsson, working with the Ericsson Many Core Architecture (EMCA).
  • 🌱 Knowledge scope: I love working close to the hardware, but my technical curiosity extends much further, bridging embedded systems with active interests in web programming and 3D graphics.
  • 🌍 On the move: I will be relocating to Milan, Italy in August 2026.
  • 🎯 Looking for: Junior embedded developer or firmware engineering roles in the Lombardy region, aiming for a September 2026 start date.

πŸ› οΈ Tech Stack & Focus Areas

  • Core Focus: Embedded Systems, System-On-Chip (SoC), Firmware Engineering
  • Broad Expertise: Web Programming, 3D Graphics
  • Documentation & Tools: LaTeX for robust technical reporting

⚑ Outside of Code

When I'm not writing code or working on my thesis, I'm usually planning my next adventure. I love traveling to less-visited, off-the-beaten-path destinations and spending time exploring nature. On a quieter day, you'll likely find me gathered around a table diving into a great boardgame.

πŸ“« Let's Connect! Whether you want to chat about firmware, recommend your favorite boardgame, or swap travel stories about unique destinations, I'd love to connect.
