TradingChassis is an applied engineering lab focused on infrastructure, reliability, and operational discipline.
The project uses trading as a demanding technical domain to demonstrate practical skills in SRE, observability, reproducibility, workflow design, and failure-aware infrastructure.
TradingChassis is intentionally designed as a portfolio project. It consists of small, understandable proof-of-skill systems.
It is not a trading bot, strategy framework, alpha research platform, or claim of financial performance.
The emphasis is on infrastructure engineering: reproducible environments, observable systems, clear operational boundaries, safety-conscious design, and workflows that remain understandable under failure.
| Repository | Status | Role |
|---|---|---|
tradingchassis-ops-lab |
Active / Primary | Local-first operations lab around NautilusTrader for reproducible backtest and paper-run workflows. |
infrastructure |
Active / Foundation | Kubernetes, GitOps, observability, environment management, and operational infrastructure. |
infrastructure-secrets |
Supporting | Secret-management integration work for Kubernetes-based infrastructure workflows. |
Earlier repositories explored a custom trading-engine architecture.
That direction is preserved as historical context and is no longer the active implementation path.
| Repository | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
core |
Legacy | Historical exploration of deterministic event-driven trading decision semantics. |
core-runtime |
Legacy | Historical runtime and orchestration layer for the previous Core architecture. |
docs |
Legacy | Historical documentation archive for architecture, concepts, ADRs, operations, and project evolution. |
Contributions, feedback, and technical discussion are welcome around infrastructure, reliability engineering, observability, reproducibility and operational workflows.
