Simply click an application icon in the Dock to immediately hide all windows of that app. Click again to restore them. This interaction provides a familiar experience for users transitioning from Windows to macOS.
When hovering over a Dock icon, DockMinimize displays real-time thumbnails of all open windows for that app. You can click a specific thumbnail in the preview bar to bring a window to the front or minimize it, significantly improving multi-window management efficiency.
DockMinimize features smart logic for applications with multiple windows. A single click can restore all minimized windows or automatically switch to a high-performance "Hide" mode when too many windows are open, ensuring system stability.
You can add specific applications to a blacklist. DockMinimize will completely bypass blacklisted apps, leaving their original interaction logic untouched.
DockMinimize can work together with SideBar. When SideBar is currently managing an app window, DockMinimize will automatically skip that app to avoid conflicts in window folding, restoring, and thumbnail capture. The synced apps are also shown in DockMinimize's blacklist settings as SideBar-managed entries.
