- When you ask a question, the schema of your selected tables (column names and types) is shared with the AI so it can answer accurately. If the AI runs a query, those results may be included in the conversation.
How much does Seshat cost? Seshat is currently free to download and use — AI included, no account required. This may change in the future, but we will communicate any pricing changes clearly in advance.
Do I need to know SQL? No. Describing what you need in plain English is enough. If you do know SQL, Seshat saves time by drafting complex queries for you to review and run.
How does the AI know what is in my database? When you pick tables, Seshat reads their structure (column names and types), but not the actual row data. This gives the AI enough context to answer your questions accurately.
Which operating systems are supported? macOS, Windows, and Linux.
