This project contains scripts utilized for processing data and calculating statistics for the Big Cat Dashboard, developed as a prototype by the Colorado Natural Heritage Program at Colorado State University alongside the International Big Cat Alliance.

The scripts for the project include:

• 1_InputDataPrep.py: Prepares the input datasets to be used across the intersection analyses below (GBIF, ranges, species conservation landscapes).

• 2.1_GBIF.R: Intersection analysis to summarize GBIF point occurrences within protected areas and Key Biodiversity Areas.

• 2.2_Ranges.R: Intersection analysis to summarize tiger ranges within protected areas and Key Biodiversity Areas.

• 2.3_SpeciesConservationLandscapes.R: Intersection analysis to summarize Species Conservation Landscapes within protected areas and Key Biodiversity Areas.

• 3_ReserveManagementEffectivenessEvaluation.R: Processes reserve management effectiveness evaluation (MEE) for tiger reserves within India.
