Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

JoyfulHouse open-source projects exist to help people. We want participation to be a respectful, harassment-free experience for everyone — regardless of background, identity, or experience level.

Expected Behavior

  • Be respectful, considerate, and constructive.
  • Welcome newcomers and assume good intent.
  • Give and accept feedback gracefully.
  • Focus on what is best for the community and the project.

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, insults, or derogatory comments.
  • Personal or political attacks.
  • Publishing others' private information without their consent.
  • Any conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies in all project spaces — issues, pull requests, discussions, and any other channels — and when an individual is representing the project in public spaces.

Enforcement

Maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing these standards and may remove, edit, or reject contributions that violate them.

Report unacceptable behavior privately to bryan.li@gmail.com. All reports will be reviewed and handled discreetly, and maintainers will respect the privacy and safety of the reporter.

Attribution

These guidelines are adapted from the spirit of the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1.
