FloodTraces

Code for the website of the FloodTraces workshop and hackathon: Integrating Digital and Traditional Data for Real-Time Humanitarian Decision-Making.

This project is led by Dr Elisabetta Pietrostefani, Dr Martina Pardy, Matt Mason, Andrea Nasuto and Prof Francisco Rowe from the University of Liverpool.

Conducted in partnership with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the International Organization for Migration's Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), the project develops an integrated data pipeline combining GPS mobility data, social media signals, and satellite imagery to produce timely, spatially detailed estimates of flood-driven population displacement.
