Export node-exporter and parseable metrics to capture telemetry data from the parseable server. The metrics endpoint exposed by parseable is behind auth, so the metrics config needs to be extended to allow specifying the credentials to use for basic auth.
Bump LimitNOFILE to 1048576 to match the resource needs of the Parseable server under load. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Set MemoryHigh/MemoryMax on the parseable.service unit so the server can never take the whole machine down under load. Both are derived from the VM's memory: reserve ~1/8 of RAM for the OS and the metrics/node exporters (MemoryMax = memory_gib - memory_gib/8) and begin aggressive reclaim 2 GiB earlier (MemoryHigh = MemoryMax - 2). For a 32 GiB VM this yields MemoryHigh=26G and MemoryMax=28G. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
