Backend engineer focused on building tools that are reliable, fast, and stay out of your way.
I work mostly in Go, with some Python and shell scripting mixed in depending on what the job calls for. Lately I've been spending a lot of time on CLI tooling and infrastructure automation.
- Go — primary language, most of my serious projects live here
- Python — scripting, quick automation, data wrangling
- Shell — glue code, CI pipelines, the usual
- Docker / Linux — pretty much always in the picture
- A small CLI tool for managing local dev environments (think a lighter-weight alternative to some of the heavier options out there)
- Improving my understanding of distributed systems concepts — reading through some papers and building small proofs of concept

- I'm not super active on social media, but I do respond to GitHub issues and discussions
Most of my interesting work ends up either here or staying internal. If something I've built is useful to you, feel free to open an issue or fork it.
