Are you actively maintaining the Dramatist package? I've been using it and made some hacks to get it to work the way I wanted. I don't know enough about TeX to be able to work out how the changes should really be implemented, but it might be worth discussing getting them into the main code.

If you're interested then I'll write up the changes I made.
