Core GeoServer and GeoTools contributor since 2003. I wrote GeoServer's original WMS module and have been working on open-source GIS infrastructure ever since. These days I focus on bringing geospatial into the cloud-native, lakehouse era: open formats, bounded-memory I/O, and Kubernetes-friendly architecture.
