I'm Luke Nyswonger, a documentation and digital experience leader with a long-running passion for technology, content strategy, AI-assisted authoring, homebrewing, craft beer, dogs, and making things better than I found them.
Born and raised in Kansas, I'm a proud U.S. Navy veteran with over 25 years of experience in the software industry. My career has spanned web and multimedia development, support engineering, technical writing, content management, content strategy, and digital experience leadership.
I spent more than 22 years at Microsoft, most recently leading Azure Patterns & Practices in Microsoft Learn, including work across the Azure Architecture Center, Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework, and Reliability guidance. Along the way, I've worked as both an individual contributor and people manager, leading small and large teams across writing, engineering, design, product, and program management disciplines.
I care deeply about creating useful, accurate, scalable content experiences. I enjoy connecting strategy with execution, building healthy teams, improving publishing systems, and finding practical ways to use AI in documentation and content workflows.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring Southern California and Nevada, hiking, golf, running, watching soccer, experimenting with homebrewing, and hanging out with our dogs. ππ΄
