Parametric Study of the Regeneration Process of CO2 Capture Sorbent in Packed-Bed Columns

Foolproof_Study_Plan.md — the master document, nine parts plus four appendices. The spine is Part III (18-week table mapped exactly to your NP calendar: Wk 1 = 20–24 Apr starting today, Interim Wk 7 = 1 Jun, Final Wk 17 = 10 Aug, panel Wk 18 = 17–19 Aug). Every week carries three columns — math learning (M), technical coding (T), writing (W) — and a deliverable or gate. The three validation gates (A: linear, B: Rankine–Hugoniot, C: Elfving SER benchmark) are the single most important control in the schedule; they must all pass by end of Wk 6 for the Interim to land. Part II is the experiment-tracker layer: five sub-hypotheses H1–H5 each tied to one of the seven sources from research.md, with pre-committed accept/refine thresholds and a pre-specified 39-run sweep matrix (14 OAT + 15 T×Q interaction + 10 validation/diagnostic). Mathematical derivation, non-dimensionalisation, and the R–H front-velocity prediction are load-bearing — not optional colour — so Part IV pairs weekly math topics (Evans Ch 3 → LeVeque Ch 3 → upwind/CFL → sensitivity equations → response surface) directly to the coding you're doing that same week.

CO2_Regen_Project_Tracker.xlsx — the working companion. Eight tabs: Master Schedule (colour-coded: orange = deliverable, green = gate, cream = term break), Deliverables (all 100% of assessment, with due dates and assessors), Bi-weekly Journal (four pre-templated entries for Wk 3, 5, 13, 15 — just fill in the right-hand "Entry" column each Monday), Experiment Log (all 39 planned runs pre-populated with Run IDs R00–R06, parameter levels, and empty result columns for v_th / τ_90 / SER), Hypotheses (H1–H5 with verdict column to flip from "Pending" to accept/refine), Risk Register (nine named risks R1–R9 with triggers and responses), Reading Tracker (Tier 1/2/3 progress), and Meeting Log (with the Wk-1 kickoff meeting already entered and the critical action item — get q_m0, b_0, ΔH_ads, column geometry from the SUTD supervisors by end of Wk 2 — already logged).
