Hi, I'm Prabha 👋

Backend engineer focused on distributed systems and data infrastructure. I spend most of my time building and debugging data pipelines, and occasionally making them less of a nightmare to operate.

  • Interests: Data engineering, infrastructure, DevOps
  • Tools I reach for: Kafka, Airflow, Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes

What I'm working on

  • Improving observability in a batch processing pipeline
  • Learning more about eBPF and how it's being used in infra tooling

A few things about me

  • I think good data pipelines are mostly about boring, reliable engineering
  • I have opinions about schema evolution that I will share if you ask (and sometimes if you don't)
  • Slowly working my way through papers on distributed consensus when I have the time
