Hi, I'm Rafael

I'm a Platform Engineer focused on building reliable internal developer platforms, paved roads, and automation practices that help teams ship with confidence.

My work sits at the intersection of Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, GitOps, cloud governance, and AI-assisted engineering. I spend a lot of time turning complex infrastructure into clear, repeatable platform capabilities with Terraform, Crossplane, GitHub Actions, Copilot, Codex, Claude Code, and modern platform engineering patterns.

What I Work On

  • Internal developer platforms and golden paths for engineering teams
  • Kubernetes platform engineering, governance, and day-2 operations
  • Control planes and infrastructure APIs with Crossplane
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
  • GitOps delivery models for infrastructure and application platforms
  • CI/CD automation, reusable workflows, and platform enablement with GitHub Actions
  • AI-assisted engineering workflows with GitHub Copilot, Codex, and Claude Code
  • Cloud foundations, guardrails, naming standards, and operational consistency
