Let's write a blog post on the book "Deep Work" by Cal Newport.
Some ideas that jump to my mind:
- Schools. See p. 31: "the absurdity of idea that exposure to simplistic [...] products - somehow prepares people to succeed"
- Universities are overburdened with unnecessary subjects, that teach students a "shallow work".
- Is "shallow work" always bad? In this mode you can also learn something while driving on the bus or jogging. It's a reality that most of us have.
