I'm interested in bringing up a powerpc-darwin target for rust, and since gcc-rs doesn't look like it's ready yet , I think getting a LLVM target is my next best bet.
According to this page you've gotten many LLVM versions to compile, but there's always some 'failure'? What exactly are these 'failures'? Does it fail on some small test case? You also went on to later versions of LLVM - does that mean you got earlier ones working well enough?
