40mm Napoleonics… Spanish Infantry and a couple of British Officers.

Greetings…

Here are more additions to this collection…

Spanish 36th Infantry Regiment Irlanda…








The Trousers are… Citadel… Pallid Wych Flesh, Administratum Grey and Doombull Brown.
The Blue Bits are… Citadel… Hoeth Blue.
The Yellow bits… Foundry… Ochre 4B.
Guns and Packs… Citadel… Mournfang Brown.
Greatcoats… Citadel… Administratum Grey.
Red Bits… Citadel… Evil Sunz Scarlet.

I really like the colour combinations of this uniform.

And the British Officers…
These chaps took part in the Boxing Day Game but I realised that I hadn’t shown them as individual figures…







Yet again these were all a real pleasure to paint…
I have now managed to paint all of the 40mm Perry Miniatures castings that I have… shock horror… the box is empty 😳.
I may have to get a few Cavalry.

40mm Napoleonics… Spanish Guerrillas

Greetings…

Another little batch of 40mm Napoleonics… This time it is a few Guerrillas.

I am sure I will come up with some suitable and probably silly names for them by the time I have my first game…

I was very pleased at how the armed Friars came out…







As before these were a lot of fun to paint…
They have come out quite colourful despite all the brown.

The Brown bits are… Citadel… Doombull Brown
The White bits are… Citadel… Pallid Wych Flesh.
The Red bits are… Citadel… Evil Sunz Scarlet.

As always everything was given a wash of Aly’s Brown Liquid and the highlight with the original shade.
I also did some additional highlights to the browns and the flesh…


The paints are Citadel.

The bases are as always…

Next up will be some Spanish Line Infantry…

40mm Napoleonics… British 43rd Light Infantry.

Greetings…

Here is the next batch of 40mm Napoleonics…

The British 43rd Light Infantry…

I have always liked white faced uniforms… they have a brightness about them.














Once again a joy to paint…
I also took the chance to try out some paints from AK Interactive… I must say I was very pleased with the results, they covered well and had a nice Matt finish. I may have to pick up a few more colours to add extra variety to my paint choices…. Also I am a bit of a paint addict 😁.
I have some Spanish Guerrillas waiting to be based and Spanish infantry on the slightly more cluttered painting desk.

The Trousers are… Citadel… Pallid Wych Flesh and Mournfang Brown.
                                AK… English Grey.
The Tunics are… AK… Matt Red.
The Officers Tunic is… AK… Matt Red plus some AK Cadmium Red.
The Muskets are… Citadel… Mournfang Brown.
The Knapsacks are… Foundry… Moss Light 29C.
The Backpacks are… Foundry… Moss 29B.
The Greatcoats are… Citadel… Administratum Grey.
The Water Bottles are… Citadel… Hoeth Blue.
The Water Bottle Straps are… Citadel… Skrag Brown.

As always everything was given a wash of Aly’s Brown Liquid and highlighted with the original shade plus some extra highlights and work on the lighter colours and faces.


The paints are Wargames Foundry, Citadel and AK Interactive.

40mm Napoleonics… 1st Paris Municipal Guard

Greetings…


Here are some more French for this project… The 1st Paris Municipal Guard.

First off… a group shot.

Once again these chaps were a joy to paint…

I am pleased with how they have come out and they make for a nice unusual ‘French’ uniform.

The Tunics are… Foundry… Forest Green 26B.
The Trousers are… Citadel… Pallid Wych Flesh.
The Officers Trousers are… Citadel… Doombull Brown.
The Facings are… Citadel… Evil Sunz Scarlet.
The Officers Blanket is…  Citadel… Mephiston Red.
The Packs and Muskets are… Citadel… Mournfang Brown.
The Water Bottles are… Foundry… Boneyard Shade 9A.
The Water Bottle Straps are… Citadel… Skrag Brown.
The Shako Covers are… Foundry… Moss Shade 29B.

40mm Napoleonics… Some more French Infantry.

Greetings…

Here are three ‘command’ types for the French 18th Line Infantry.

First up… A Sergeant..



This figure is a conversion…
I used the body of the Voltigeur running at the trail and added the arms from the Spanish Sergeant.
The rank and service stripes were added using Green Stuff putty.

Next up… A Voltigeur Hornist.



And finally…A Sapper…



As before these were a real joy to paint…
Of course the Sapper would normally be part of the Grenadier Company which means that I will really really need to paint some Grenadiers in the future… poor me 😁.

The Tunics are… Citadel… Kantor Blue with a touch of Caledor Sky.
The Sappers Tunic… Citadel… Hoeth Blue.
The Sapper and Hornist Facings are… Citadel… Wazdaka Red.
The Trousers are… Citadel… Pallid Wych Flesh, Administratum Grey and Khorne Red
The Greatcoats are Citadel… Administratum Grey.
The Muskets and Backpacks are… Citadel… Mournfang Brown.
The Shako Covers are… Foundry… Drab Light 12C.
The Water Bottles are… Foundry… Boneyard Shade 9A.
The Water Bottle Straps are… Citadel… Skrag Brown.
Yellow bits are… Foundry… Ochre 4B.
Green bits are… Citadel… Warboss Green.
Red bits are… Citadel… Evil Sunz Scarlet.
