What a breath of fresh air! Among so many forgettable series, this one has deep characters and a rather unconventional story-telling style. It's not perfect, and one or two episodes are disappointing, but it was certainly worth the ride. For 5 hours, I was moved, I had fun, and I met interesting people.
Don't expect a tad of cliff hangers, epic twists, or a fully wrapped plot. This seinen is a slice of life with "real" characters going through an segment of their lives where they will all change. The MC is fascinating and funny, though she'd also be a huge pain in real life. All the characters are complex, even if their deeper traits are just hinted.
You should give it a try. By the end of episode 1, you may decide that it does not suit your taste. At that point I was totally thrilled.
