The fourth movie concentrates for the most part on the relationship between Ran and Shinichi, but the story doesn't fail to impress the viewer as well and the soundtrack adds a lot to the feeling and the mood.
This time the case has a lot to do with the police of Tokyo, so we see all the known officers from the series as well as Eri, Kogoro's wife. The plot is build up very good and we get to know more things about Kogoro's family as well as about Ran. The way how the beginning of the series, the case and Ran were all involved in the overall plot was interesting and made overall a good pace with less action but a lot more emotions for this time.
The subtitle of the movie is Captured in her Eyes and it fits really good, it describes both the background of the case and the feelings Shinichi has for Ran.
There are a few vocal songs played in the anime which are all verry beautiful, the new Conan theme makes its first appearence and the ending, anata ka iru kara by Miho Komatsu, is slow and fits the mood and Ran's feelings.
Well, what else should I tell you. Go and watch this movie immediately if you are a Conan fan! And you will be captured in her eyes as well. ;)
