Pallet Racking Installer

Seeking organized and motivated individual with construction experience to join our skilled team of installers assembling pallet racking, shelving, mezzanines and other steel equipment. Projects occur in fast-paced, industrial environments where problem solving, team work and safety are essential.

Candidates should have some construction experience, the ability to transport themselves, and good communication skills. Special consideration for anyone with previous experience assembling racking.

DUTIES

· Install or dismantle multiple types of steel storage equipment.

· Operate forklifts and scissor lifts (certification available).

· Use multiple hand tools (tools provided).

· Read blueprints.

· Adapt to changing tasks to support team and supervisor.

· Follow safety standards.

· Perform shop tasks, including pulling project materials.

· May be asked to drive 24 ft. box truck.

QUALIFIATIONS

· Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites around Southeast Wisconsin.

· Exceptional hand eye coordination and good problem-solving skills.

· Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.

· Ability to climb and work at heights on scissor lifts.

· Clean, professional appearance with good team attitude.

· Ready to learn and interested in long-term employment.

OTHER VALUED EXPERIENCE

· Construction experience involving heights and/or steel assembly (4 years preferred).

· Forklift experience (2 years preferred).

· Scissor lift experience (1 year preferred).

· Problem solving in construction environments.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

· Full-time employment, M-F 7am to 3:30am, with 30 min. lunch.

· Starting $15 to $20/hr (depending on experience).

· Possible $1 raise for great performance, after 90 day probation period.

· Mileage compensation for non-local projects.

· 3 days paid vacation after 90 days probation. Additional PTO accrued for hours worked.
