Ronald Edward Meredith (1946-1994) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.

Meredith was nominated to the Western District of Kentucky by President Ronald Reagan on February 27, 1985, to a new seat created by 98 Stat. 333; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 3, 1985, and received commission on April 4, 1985. From 1991-1994, he served as the chief judge. He served the Western District of Kentucky until his death on December 1, 1994.[1] Meredith was succeeded in this position by Joseph McKinley.

Early life and education

Ronald Meredith earned his bachelor's degree in 1967 from Georgetown College and his Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School in 1971.[1]
