Understanding Davos

This actually kind of makes sense, in a kind of horrifying way.

The Tardis is a Pokeball?

Actually it sort of makes sense.

Kevin Baker on Opera

The music, not the browser (which I recommend for its good security).  But he disses my man Wagner, along with all the others.  I find that I'd replied two years ago.  Just proved my Time Lord credentials, I guess.

But Kevin has Dilberts.  RTWT.

Attention Dr. Who fans

Get ready for a big budget Hollywood movie:
"Harry Potter" director David Yates is teaming up with the BBC to turn its iconic sci-fi TV series "Doctor Who" into a bigscreen franchise.

Yates, who directed the last four Potter films, told Daily Variety that he is about to start work on developing a "Doctor Who" movie with Jane Tranter, head of L.A.-based BBC Worldwide Prods.

"We're looking at writers now. We're going to spend two to three years to get it right," he said. "It needs quite a radical transformation to take it into the bigger arena."
Hopefully it will be more than just Daleks in 3D.

My problem ...

... is that I don't have an arch enemy.

I'm not a psychopath, I'm a high functioning sociopath.  Do your research.

If you enjoy the reloaded Dr. Who, or the fabulous Coupling (both from Steven Moffit), you should go to Netflix and check out the Sherlock series from the B.B.C.  A bunch of leftie, tax-supported, statist bastards, but this is really good TV.  Oh, and can I just say that Auntie Beeb needs an American detective, who can deliver the line "You come to Texas sometime.  I'll shoot you there."

Hey British taxpayers - thanks for the cool TV!

Can I get one of these?

I mean, if he can have one, why can't I?

Oh, right - it's not on the Massachusetts Approved Time-And-relative-Dimension-In-Space roster. Maybe if I move to New Hampshire ...
