These reviews are 100% fake. The company is a scam. They talk sweet and convince you that they are the best. In cases like mine they tell you that you qualify for a diamond plan because a car was bought bew from a dealer. They rob you every month then when an issue occurs and its time for them to cover. The nightmare begins. My car was at my local mechanic which by coinsedence was a mechanic they used previous. My mechanic told me they dont work with them because they force clients to approve a diognostic that they dont cover but the client has to pay. Then the warranty contacted them and they told them they dont want to deal with them so warranty called multiple mechanics and they all replied the same thing which had me worried. Why no mechanics want to work with this scam company. They swnt a toll teuck and i still had to pay out of pocket because diamond plan does mean shit. They tey to send you miles away to anyone that will accept their scam and they dont even cover the full tow. This is what they dont tell you. You would think its nothing but its not a typical diognostic. In my case. had to approve with their mechanic what they call their own diognostic and thats taking apart the engine to get to what they call point of failure so then they reject the claim with a stupid excuse and you're stuck with a massive bill and the problem isnt fixed. It was weeks without a car and hours on the phone and the sweet attitude they had to lure you in turns into hoodrat unproffesional attitude and alot of yawning while you're yelling as if they are use to scamming and people yelling. Do not fall for this scam. Report them to the Department of consumer affairs and Better business bureau.

I cannot write a review if I do not at least leave one star. Car Shield does not deserve any stars. After inquiring before my purchase in 2023, ( I paid $4200 up to the date of the 2026 claim ), as to whether Car Shield covers suspensions, my first claim in 2026 was denied. Why wouldn't I be made "whole", whether that meant, refunding my $4200, or paying the claim. I was told a component attached to the suspension caused the suspension to fail so the claim was denied. So, if I had a foot issue, visited the podiatrist, and he tells me, "well, the toe is attached to the foot but, if the toe causes an infection of the foot, even though you cannot have one without the other", he cannot treat the foot. REALLY !!! I informed family, the mechanic and his customers, friends, bowling buddies, voters in the State where I live to advise everyone that would listen to them, " RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM CAR SHIELD. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS." Thanks in advance

The mechanical issue my vehicle experienced was handled quickly between the repair facility and the customer service at car shield. That made it easy for me to deal with the problem.

They are CROOKS. They will not honor their part and will try to put refurbished parts on your vehicle. I will NEVER do business with them again.

I was able to take my truck to the dealer of my choice told him I had CarShield and he took it from there, he contacted them and the repair was approved picked up my car on Monday no hassle.

I have been using car shield for 4 years and have not ever encountered a problem. I recommend carShield to all my associates who are in need of a aftermarket car warranty.

I called to submit a claim and have not heard back from them for an approval. This has been a week now.

I was asked only a few questions when I signed up for coverage. After paying the monthly rate for 8 months, I had a problem & took it in for a diagnosis ($530) which I paid out of pocket. After waiting for a week with no response from a Car Shield agent I called in & was told my claim was denied due to my after market changes to my vehicle. Had I been properly questioned I would have questioned future coverages. The agent told me I would be contacted within 24 hours but an email arrived w/n 15 minutes about the denial of my claim. No offer of any refund was offered. I guess "Live & learn"!

The wait time is so ridiculous among other factors like the vehicle rental process and all. I’m storing second guess this company

I am getting more familiar with CarShield. It seems to be a worth while investment.
