Bricklist notes: Myself and my colleague Maarten Simons worked together on earlier versions of the rattlecopter and we both influenced the future look of all snake vehicles, such as the head, color combination and overall styling.
Some are confused as to why the front teeth wobble... it's so that the face doesn't get pushed up and broken when you place the helicopter on a flat surface.

Bricklist notes: Or simply the lion buggy as was it's name during development. The disc shooter was a re-adaptation of the Toy Story disk shooter, but built in 4-wide and less prone to misfiring. My biggest challenge was building what I wanted for the required pricepoint, and a close second would be the side-tubes holding the claws in place so they wouldn't spin out of control.

Bricklist notes: One of my latest sets and definitely my favorite so far. The size is perfect for play, you get three models that provide a lot of play, you have the modularity, the diversity between models and even a fun function that doesn't need a lot of technic. The function on the thunder raider works with the help of the new "A-plate" which I helped design. I have been unable to leave this element out of any models I've been designing since. It opens up a lot of posibilities for someone like me who loves to challenge the straight lines that LEGO bricks are usually restricted to.

Bricklist notes: Ahhhh About time we had a bad dragon in our Ninjago lineup. The first thing I wanted is to have a brick-built head that would better match a mechanical dragon. Some lessons learned from the Epic Dragon Battle, including having a handle on the back helps with the play. You might notice that the prison pod has a very classic almost space police I feel to it.
The buggy was put together in just over a day. The shooting function takes a bit of practice to master, but when that happens the dragon has a proper challenge on his hands (paws)

Bricklist notes: A very fun mech with a function, ends up being a really fun build with a function and a nice pricepoint hehe. This is my second mech in the Ninjago theme after Cole's, because of this I really wanted the two to look good next to eachother, and also to scale with Kai's older mech.
