More substantial than it looks
Build
The build reminded me of sets from years ago which may be intentional as the craft is "in universe" supposed to be from the 1990's. It is a bit larger and more substantial than I thought it would be but even though there is a hatch at the back it is mostly cosmetic and you would have to just lie a Minifigure down and push them in, and even then ones with large head or hairpieces may not fit in the narrow space. That said it is a really nice very playable ship and doesn't feel fragile at all. I would advise applying the stickers using tweezers or similar as they are clear plastic and fingermarks on the adhesive will show, especially on the canopy so if buying for a child an adult might want to do these.
Minifigures
The Minifigures are as you would expect quite detailed although Captain Marvels hair doesn't look right in either colour or style but maybe this is the closest they have without making new parts and colours or they were working from pre-production descriptions or images. The Skrull is nice if a bit too bright green but maybe due to the same reasons as Captain Marvels hair. And last but not least Nick Fury with hair and two eyes and a good torso piece.
Overall
I like this set a lot and I am glad I bought it, the quinjet is a different build than we are used to and that's good. The Minifigures are nice but maybe another Skrull could have been included as I expect there are a few more in the movie.

A lot nicer and more detailed than it looks in pictures.
I took the opportunity to get a Star Destroyer really just to compliment my TFA Falcon and Tie fighter but like most AFOLs I couldn't afford an Imperial one on the secondary market, and I wasn't expecting to enjoy the building of this set or the finished product as much as I do.
While the side panels are basically the same build but opposite, the structure and interior are a really interesting build, the building of Snokes throne and intergrated handle are a masterpiece in themselves and all the crew pits and surrounds are great and quite intricate. The colour scheme is limited but that is to be expected even those hull panels take more building than they would look too because of the multi layered aspect and all the surface texturing, my only gripe is the fixed stud shooters but I think to make them move in any way would impact on the interior of the hull plate and therefore reduce space for placing Minifigures so it is a worthy compromise in my opinion.
The Minifigures are good but I would have preferred one of Snokes red guards rather than one of the stormtroopers but the exclusive Snoke is a nice Minifigure and the colouring for the officer makes him stand out.
Overall I would recommend this set as a high point in an otherwise lacklustre TLJ line of sets.

A great build of an iconic ship
I wanted this set as soon as I saw advance images and it hasn't disappointed
The Build
You start with little crane truck and trailer and the main body then the cockpit section and the two sections that sit between the body and the engines and finally the two engine nacelles
Minifigures
Admiral Raddus has a darkish grey version of the Admiral Ackbar headpiece, which is great for those who want different Mon Calamari figs with a blue uniform.
Moroff is an excellent Minifigure despite his blink and you miss him appearance in Rogue One with fur printing on his torso and legs and a unique head/chest piece which uses dual moulding for the grey section.
The Y-wing pilot has a blue flightsuit with life support gear printed on the front.
The astromech droid has a grey body but shinier grey for the legs, it also has a smoked clear translucent dome.
The Stormtrooper looks pretty standard.
Overall opinion
This is an astoundingly good set with good Minifigures although why a Stormtrooper is in a rebel base is anyones guess (maybe the designers had a budget for another Minifigure but not enough for a specific one). I am really glad I got this set.

This will be a hard act to follow
This is my first and, as of typing, only modular building which I decided to get after watching reviews of the 4 in my price range, and I think I am hooked.
The build
I was expecting a time consuming, very intricate and satisfying build and was not disappointed. There are more elements to build on each step but that is to be expected in an expert level set however the steps are just as clear as every other set I have built so no experienced builder will feel overwhelmed by this build. I took 8 and a half hours but I like to savour a large build as my joy is really in the actual building of the set but this does look spectacular when finished
There are some innovative uses of elements in new, interesting ways (why do I need wheelarches in a restaurant?) and all the printed pieces are printed so no wonky stickers to ruin the look.
As it is a modular building you build the floors separately so when you have completed the ground floor you can put it aside which is handy if you don't have much building room and the same after completing the first floor & upper dining terrace (which are also separate from each other).
The Minifigures
There are 5 Minifigures included, a waiter, a chef a male customer and 2 female customers. Their accessories include a gold ring (plus a spare in case they drop it in a volcano) a moped/scooter and various bottles, glasses and kitchen implements you would expect in a restaurant.
Playability?
This is probably designed as a display piece but could be used in play scenarios although it may be larger than many lego city buildings (unless they are also modulars) it is very sturdy and the levels seperate and re-attach easily.
Overall opinion
I love it, It looks so much better than in the photos on Brickset and Lego.com (and they look good) you keep seeing little details that you hadn't noticed when building.
I seriously hadn't expected to like the whole experience as much as I did and still do, my eye keeps getting drawn across the room to it, and I had thought that if I decided against any more modulars it is an excellent standalone piece but I think it may be being joined by the detective office as soon as funds allow.

Buy this set, you'll be glad you did.
This is a much better set in the flesh (plastic) than it looks in the pictures, I was undecided when I first saw the pictures but after a bit of debating with myself I decided to buy it and I am very pleased with the set.
Box/Instructions
A nice large box with large pictures of the set front and rear and the various play features are also shown on the rear.
Parts
As you would expect from the pictures the Bat-copter has lots of blue, black and grey with an unusual canopy piece, the combine-harvester has lots of tan and dark brown pieces with some black and trans-neon green thrown in. The tractor has some bright fire engine red pieces
Minifigures
All 5 of the Mini-figures are nice with Blue Beetle and Killer Moth being the stars (in my opinion) and even if you don't collect the Elves or CMF ranges you have to like the abundance of parts that originate in those themes finding their way into other themes, and the wings on Blue Beetle and Killer Moth (both sets are different styles) are a fine example of that. Batman has breathing gear, both a piece between his torso and head and printed on his torso and Scarecrow has the combined hat and hair piece. The farmer has a grubby white vest top and a baseball cap with a frightened expression.
The printing on all the Mini-figures is excellently detailed and well worth digging out a magnifying glass for a closer look.
The build
The tractor is built first and involves a bit more than is suggested by the picture.
The Bat-copter is built a bit differently to other Lego helicopters in order to fit the play features which involve the tail and sides so is a nice change for those used to Batman's various helicopters.
The combine-harvester is an interesting build and the mechanism works very well when moving forwards, not as well in reverse but when do you see a combine-harvester cutting backwards.
The completed model
All the models look good and the 3 contrasting colour schemes work well to differentiate each model while still looking part of the set
Overall opinion
I like it and I am very pleased I decided to get it, the builds are fun and the Mini-figures are excellent.
