In a press conference, Trump says members on SCOTUS are "very unpatriotic and disloyal" and have been "swayed by foreign interests."

We're two or three negative rulings away from Trump saying, 'feck it' the Supreme Court, nor Congress, has an Army to stop me.

Many items did get more expensive last month. rose 0.3% in January from the previous month, & are up 1.7% from a year earlier. jumped 6.5% just last month, though they are up a smaller 2.2% compared with a year ago. subscriptions soared 4.5% in January & are 7.8% higher than a year earlier.

Many businesses are still eating costs & economists expect they may raise more in the next few months.

's latest diarrhea "truth" about the Gordie Howe , and how he wants to block its opening until (paraphrasing) he owns half of it and (literal quote) “the United States is fully compensated for everything we have given them, and also, importantly, treats the United States with the and that we deserve” can have only one response:

        "Fuck you, Donnie."

If the government negotiates with the over this... if we even dignify it with a response, as if it was a reasonable concern ... if we, as a country, do *anything* that even hints at his being any kind of argument, then we have failed.

        "Fuck you, Donnie."

don't understand anything except pushback, and when they get that, they fold.

        "Fuck you, Donnie."

That should be our position on every demand he makes and every overwrought complaint he vomits out into the .

        T: "Canada's treated us badly."

(as I did), attended the today and bragged about his :

He claimed (completely wrong & w/o evidence) that foreign companies are moving to the U.S. b/c of his policy. They aren't.

He falsely claimed (again w/o evidence) they were "creating millions of jobs" (they aren't. is up.)

He claimed is at a record low (it's at a 5yr high) and TRILLIONS in tax revenue pouring in.

              Dear Senator / Representative:

This Republican Administration has announced a $12 billion payout to American farmers as a result of market losses caused by their tariffs, primarily for farmers who grow corn and soybeans. There are 1.9 million farms in the United States. About 750,000 farms grow corn and/or soybeans.

At the same time, this Republican Administration is stymied on developing a plan to assist the 24 million Americans who will see a massive increase in the cost of their healthcare when the Affordable Care Act subsidies expire on January 1, 2026.

Another 150 million Americans with employer-sponsored insurance are also expected to see increased premiums at a time when wages are stagnant. Although KFF reports that ACA premiums are rising 26% on average before subsidies, they predict that premium payments will more than double without subsidies.

Here's a better plan: end the tariffs, allow these 750,000 farmers to sell their products on the open market. Many of these same farmers rely on the ACA for their healthcare, so a clean, three-year extension on the ACA subsidies will help benefit the farmers as well.

Please be an advocate for common sense solutions that benefit the most Americans possible. Please push back hard on the Republican lack-of-plans to solve these problems.

I hope there are journalists digging into who sold and who bought stocks and cryptocurrencies, which ones and when, leading up to Apr 2 and in the next few weeks.

The low-effort generative AI looking tariff rates is a tell. The fact bitcoin moved the same way as US stock indices has a bad smell about it too.
