Leiya doesn't change at all but she was sleepy from jet lag. Takumi directed us to a Japanese restaurant for an authentic Japanese breakfast which the three Watanabes enjoyed completely and Marcy and Kiana were good sports to eat. (Dried seaweed, pickled cabbage, salted mackerel, fried egg, fermented beans, grated radish, miso soup, tofu).
At the Japanese supermarket Leiya and Takumi enjoyed a Japanese style crepe even though both were stuffed from the breakfast we'd had. Leiya loves crepes and I have an almost identical picture of her taken only minutes after she flew in to Tokyo a couple of years ago.
We made a stop at Takumi's apartment again so that Leiya and Kiana and Marcy could see it. They all pronounced it a very Takumi-looking apartment and a great bachelor pad.
That little "placemat/doorsign" quilt was one of my first attempts at Wonky Word quilts quite a few years ago.
Cousins being silly together.
Any my two great grown-up kids!
You must be very happy to meet your beautiful children. Precious moments with good memories when you get back to Japan.
