Way too slow service from all staff
I took out the extra warranty when I bought a 70 reg car two years ago but be warned, it’s not worth the paper it’s written on! I need an engine rebuild which ‘isn’t covered’. Total waste of over 1k which could have gone towards the 4.5k repair!!
Never again will I buy a car from big motoring world, On the 13th March 2026 unfortunately my wife broke her leg. We previously seen a car that she like a few days before, on the 14th we purchased a MG ZS EV 23 PLATE for nearly £15,000 .My wife didn’t want to drive it until her leg was better, go forward three months where it sat on our driveway my wife started to drive the car, immediately messages started to appear on iPad on the front dash saying, UDISC IDENTITY FAILURE, i thought that’s nothing to worry about because MG are covered for 7 years , we took it to MG for a software update which was done, she was driving again and on the iPad it came as emergency breaking system unavailable, back to MG Norwich left the car with them for three weeks, they came back to me saying the car needed a new head unit (IPAD) at the cost of over £3000, no problem I thought I’m covered by MG 7 years. WRONG the head unit/ipad unfortunately isn’t covered 😂you couldn’t write it. Back to big motoring world that’s the people we got the car off, after two months of emails big motoring came back to me and refused to pay to have it repaired, BE WARNED DO NOT BUY FROM BIG MOTORING WORLD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NONE EXISTENT.
Very impressed with their whole set up. Helpful, no pressure sales people and a massive, bewildering array of cars on site. I felt like a child in a sweet superstore !
I'll definitely be paying another visit when I've got more of a fixed idea of what I want.
Management didn’t seem to be bothered about a sale. Salesman tried his hardest to assist me but seems like his hands were tied. Manager couldn’t even be bothered to speak with a potential customer, just kept sending staff to tell me they wouldn’t help in anyway! Definitely stay clear of this place. I will not be purchasing from here
Everything was so smooth and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was right for me which it was and I would definitely recommend the company
Great selection of cars in a clean, modern showroom. Very friendly and welcoming receptionist.
I selected a car that was reasonably priced and offered a full end-to-end list of optional add-ons (extended warranty cover, bodywork maintenance, tyre repairs etc).
Deniz was a big help in getting us on our way in our new car as quickly as he could - which was greatly appreciated.
Andrei was very helpful and full professional
From the salesman Mohammed to the lady giving me the keys everyone was very helpful and efficient
Avoid like the plague!
Absolutely shocking. The ISA fix wouldn’t fit in the car. Was advised to go through the warranty which is what I did. Brake pads were 80% worn. A warning light come on the car within 21 days of purchase so I took it to a garage through their warranty.
They don’t like to admit any fault. Their customer service is horrendous. They like to blame the garages that they recommend through their free warranty. Don’t want to offer any compensation.
They try and upsell their “amazing” warranty at point of sale, once you’re out of the door they do not care. The car sales manager at Sheffield reminds me of Matilda’s Dad.
Go anywhere but here!!!
Arrived on time for a test drive. Waited 30mins whilst the salesman disappeared to "find the keys". I grew tired of waiting after 40mins and walked out not having even seen the vehicle. Shockingly bad service.

Similar to other reviews. Over promised and under delivered. Sale and collection process was abysmal. Prepare to have a lengthy wait if you buy a car from Big Motoring World

Booked an appointment through the booking line to view four vehicles for my daughter’s first car. The booking advisors/service providers were very good, very thorough and friendly. Appointment booked, registrations of the vehicles I wanted to see were checked and confirmed to be available. Email and text confirmation of appointment received.
That was where my experience with this company peaked.
Having driven a hour to get there, we checked in with a Receptionist, who was friendly and efficient and showed us to a table.
45 minutes later my daughter and I were still waiting to be seen. Another receptionist approached to say she knew we had been waiting a long time and she had informed the manager. I thanked her, and asked if we could take a walk around the dimly lit, outdoor car showroom and she said yes, checked the mobile number she held for me was correct, and that she would call me when a salesperson became available. We wandered round for five minutes or so, but in the low lighting it was pointless. We decided to leave and upon informing the receptionist we were leaving she said she had someone available now.
Having waiting for 54 minutes we were irritated and it clearly took leaving for someone to be able to see us. We politely declined and left. Having now read the reviews of the “after sales service” I can only feel we dodged a bullet.
Also worth mentioning that as per other reviews, even at the initial booking call stage, there was a distinct focus on taking out finance rather than paying cash. I wonder if this was translated through and contributed to the length of time we had to wait.

I visited the Warrington store today to view a particular car I wanted to try for size. I hadn't realised the location of the car in question was at a car 'superstore'. Sadly this meant that I was unable to just take a relaxing walk around the cars as I had planned. Instead, I was greeted at the reception area, asked to fill a form in with my details and then introduced to a young lady who then spent several minutes explaining things to me and looking through the stock list and asking me to choose which cars I wanted to look at so she could get the keys. She then accompanied me around the site to the two cars I had 'chosen' to sit in. The young lady in question was very friendly and had clearly been trained to ask the right questions, but it was awkward walking around with her following me. When will these companies learn that this hard sell manner puts a lot of people off, myself for one.

Shocking after sales
We took out extended 36 month warranty. Reported an issue with the electrics on our car.
All we get when we call is 'we'll get back to you' and a ridiculous 'take care'
EVERY TIME WE CALL.
Frustrating beyond words!
If I could leave no stars on this review I would.

I recently had a Vauxhall Corsa transferred from Leeds to the Cannock branch and, overall, had a very positive experience.
I visited on Saturday to view the car, with John as our salesperson and Michael shadowing him. Both were friendly and professional, but John really stood out. He was knowledgeable, down to earth, made plenty of jokes and had a really calming presence. I never felt pressured into buying extras and everything was explained clearly.
The customer service at Cannock was excellent. They were very attentive and genuinely seemed to care about their customers and ensuring the cars were safe and ready to drive away. John even offered me a drink about three times before I finally accepted a water, followed by a tea! A small touch, but it really showed their attentiveness.
I want to stress that the issues I experienced were not down to the Cannock branch. The main problem appeared to be the transfer from Leeds, where information and checks hadn’t been fully completed before the car was sent down.
The car needed some additional checks, and as it was a Saturday, they had to wait until Monday for the mechanic to come in. It turned out the water tank had become a little dirty and needed flushing again, having already been flushed on the Saturday. This caused a longer wait, but I appreciated that Cannock wanted to make sure everything was right before letting me drive away. As an apology, they also provided a full tank of petrol and metallic paint protection.
There were a few smaller issues afterwards — the valet could have been better, the metallic protection seems to have caused a few scratches, and one tyre appeared overinflated, causing the tyre pressure warning light to come on. None were major, but worth mentioning.
The biggest area for improvement is the communication and checks between branches. Better information from Leeds could potentially have avoided some of the delays.
I had previously bought my car privately, so buying from a dealer for the first time was a little daunting, especially after my Hyundai i10 of four years was sadly written off following an accident. However, John and the Cannock team made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. John is a real credit to the team and was brilliant with both us as customers and Michael as a trainee.
Overall, despite the transfer issues, I had a really positive experience at Cannock and felt genuinely looked after.
Let’s just hope there are no further issues and the Corsa serves me as well — and for even longer — than my trusted Hyundai i10 did… and protects me just as well if I’m ever unlucky enough to have another accident!

DO NOT BUY A CAR from Big Motoring World!!
We made the mistake, and the red flags were there! The staff are aggressive with their sales technique, the cars come with hidden problems!
Apparently they don't think my review is genuine so here's the detail.
The car was first shown to us, in the shade. We asked them to show us the car in the sunshine (due to it having metallic paintwork). Turns out the car is COVERED in scratches. (They later promised these would be polished out (they weren't, maybe oiled for temporary cover?). They HEAVILY pushed different finance packages, and even the enhanced warranty. When we declined they then listed off all of the problems with this certain model of car. What a terrible sales technique? The test drive was 1 minute. (if that) pointless. We were told the car came with a full service history. We were given one page and it wasn't a service. They handed the car over to us with one of the air valve covers on a tyre missing and it turns out the tyre had a problem. We took it to a garage and they confirmed the valve was mangled. Big Motoring World must have just kept pumping the tyre up? The car has an engine rattle, a problem with reversing parking sensors and a fault SOS function, and the remote phone charging bay also doesn't work. The sales agents we spoke with were aggressive. The whole experience was uncomfortable. The car hasn't been thoroughly checked, and we've brought an absolute bag of crap. So NO, I would not recommend Big Motoring World, I would even go as far as standing outside their branch with a placard to warn others - DO NOT BUY FROM BIG MOTORING WORLD!!
