If you want to order from somewhere that gives you shipping dates before purchase that change to a month later after, sends incorrect sizes often, and cancels some items you purchased a month later, by all means good luck. This company has went straight into the sewer. Would not recommend to anyone. The other companies like swap are way better and are reliable.

Every time I've purchased something from Swap.com, the item(s) have been exactly as described and well-packaged. This purchase was no exception. I got a fantastic coat that I couldn't have found anywhere else. They're dependable, honest, and a great source for both bargains and unique items you can't always find elsewhere.

Everything I purchased was exactly as I had hoped. Great items (specifically ties and dress shirt) that looked brand new but at a fraction of the price. I continually shop Swap.com because I've found so many great deals on designer clothes and items that I can't locate anywhere else. Highly recommend shopping here first before going to the stores or even online (like Amazon).

When I first placed my order I thought all my choices were available...then I got a message that said several were unavailable so I canceled my order...then several days later I got a message that my original order was coming...it arrived with most of the order but 2 items were the wrong size....I'm glad your business is growing but there were several disconnects (problems) within your system.

Not honest about shipping. "Slight delays" are several weeks (if not moving to months) behind with no communication. Replies from their support team are weeks behind as well. Customers are left with little to no information for an issue that has (apparently from their automated emails) been ongoing for a good long while.
They are happy to take your money for the possibility that you might one day get something.
By the time you have had enough with delays, you will find the timeframe for a chargeback has elapsed.

The items I purchased said good condition but when I received the items most of them looked like rag. Very worn out, piling, stains and etc. Should not sell garbage to customers. What is the point trying to save the planet when thredup is accumulating more garbage in my house. Very unprofessional, not trust worthy and worst shopping experience.

I bought two slacks, same type; both were listed in good condition. However, one was in warn condition (fair). The was a warn spot that requires a patch and the cusp of the hem was somewhat shredded.
I don't consider it a bad purchase, but there should be conformity in labeling the quality of the items. There should be some kind of Quality Control to insure accurate descriptions of the condition of the clothes.

Any good reviews prior to this site being taken over by some Shopify format ("The Jay Group" is their customer service response handle) should be invalidated. As of at least 2023 this website is shady--orders taken weeks ago are not moving, the returns policy has become too strict given the thrifted items too. They used to have detailed photos for all the listings. Now you're lucky if you get two views of a product you know they won't let you return. '
The only reason I made my most recent order was because I had store credit from the previous owners that I needed to use before it expired. Order was placed on January 13th and there's been no move and their customer service response was essentially a shrug.
Swap.com is over, it's a shame.

I bought 5 blouses for a total of $35 which included shipping. I kept 3 of the blouses because 2 were too tight in the bust.
I appreciate Swap.com because of their 100% guarantee return policy. The experience I have had with previous secondhand clothing company's there was a "no return" policy.
I was so enthralled with my experience; I told a half dozen women of my great find!

Items like mens blazers come terribly wrinkled.
I often get a similar label,but not the one I ordered like D & co. Instead of d&g. Big difference.
Also when I order multiple items the best ones are no longer available by shipping time. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN. AREN'T ITE.MS REMOVED FROM INVENTORY BEFORE THEY ARE SOLD?

If you get what you want, great! Love to get clothes for cheap. If you don't, bad news, the "refund code" doesn't work. I theoretically got a code for store credit, but the directions for how to apply it to my account don't work. The email to reach customer service must be under-staffed or not staffed at all; I reached out a month ago - NO response. Very disappointed. Would have been happy to use the store credit, if I actually had access to it!

Swap offers an awesome selection of items and you can filter according to preferences including sizes, styles, condition, as well as price. On the downside, the site typically only provides 2 views of each item, one front and one back view, along with very basic descriptions. The major drawback is the cost of shipping and very slow deliveries.

I've been shopping on Swap for about 3 yrs now. At 1st it was good but in the last year, I've ordered lots of stuff that were advertised as XL adults but were kids clothes. Also to return anything now (sized wrong or not as advertised) Swap won't pay for return or credit your account so I'm not ordering. The shoes that I ordered last were narrow, not as advertised so I can't wear them & I refuse to pay return shipping! That's my final order!

It's been years since I've ordered from Swap and back then they were good. Now I feel like they scam people out of their hard earned money. It's nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone and when replying to emails, they send automated messages stating they have numerous tickets. It's been over 2 weeks and I haven't gotten any word in regards to my order. I definitely don't recommend this "business" to anyone.

Swap.com has always had rough edges, like their clothes being delivered smelling of a moldy warehouse, inventory issues (wrong sizes, items listed that they don't have), orders sent out after 6-8 weeks! But this is the worst experience I've had yet. ~1/5 of my order didn't even get sent, because they didn't have it, and because they used the return system to issue a partial refund for that part of my order, I could not initiate a return for items that were the wrong size. I contacted support well within the 30-day window to report his and request a return, but I still have not heard back from any of multiple emails. I looked up their support number, but it isn't even connected anymore. They have gone from good deals with bad fulfillment and service to just a miserable mess that's not worth the trouble anymore.

I bought only 2 items just to see if swap was legitimate and if items there would be worth purchasing. I was pleasantly surprised. The item noted "good condition" was even better than anticipated. The "like new" looked as if it was never worn. I WILL DEFINITELY keep buying. Love the choices too. Soo much of varying styles!!

One of the good things from swap is that if you didn't like the clothes, you could return these for free.
As you know a picture is not the same but now the return has a fee and this make me more likely not to be sure about certain purchases.
I received a shirt that stated it was new, it was all wrinkle and smelled like cigar, try to return it but needed to pay so basically there was no advantage of havind bought this from here.

Terrible. I never got my order, but despite multiple chats/calls/emails no one ever could give me any helpful in about the status of my order. Had ordered shoes for my big trip to Europe and it’s looking like they won’t arrive though I ordered a month ahead of my trip. Very disappointed! Btw -I know there was a significant warehouse problem, but this a about managing customer expectations (or not!).
