Here's More Pictures....Row Houses Class
St. Louis Blast!!!!
Boy, did we have fun in St. Louis at For Keeps Sake, or what ?!?!?!?

These are just a few of the wonderful students that came to our classes this weekend that were in the Row Houses class. And they all left, they told me, happy with their projects ~ and that's what it's all about! Good fun, good people, good times.
And thank God for Onstar!!! That's a wonderful thing to have if you are directionally challenged, as I am, and need just a bit of help getting where you want to be. Just one wrong turn equals a successful trip in my opinion, and that's what I had.
Forgive me for not remembering names....but the last picture is the Queen Mum and her court. What a hoot! The rest of the names are changed (or forgotten) to protect the innocent! I have more pictures, but can only upload a certain amount...I guess. I'll try more later.
Thanks for a great weekend....the staff...unbelievably wonderful...all of them are remarkable women. Treat them well students...they are golden.

All Packed up and Ready to GO!!!!!
No pictures today. Just packing up and enjoying the sunshine. Yesterday was a typical cold and rainy, ugly, March day in the Midwest!!!! YUCK!
Today the sun is shining and all is good with the world.
Tomorrow starts the classes in St. Louis and Wendy and Cecile are on the way!!! Looking forward to seeing all of you. Come by and say hi, even if you're not in a class. We would love to see you!
Then I'm home for 3 days and take off with my DH for Charleston and Savannah for 9 days, to spend my birthday with Fran and Jim. The azaleas and plantations are calling my name!!!!

Tim's Case...Finally Done!
Largest Fragment
Have a great day!
***I had a couple of people ask how I did this...it is a simple collage stamp by Tin Can Mail with Versafine ink...then I used the handled Inkssentials to apply Distress Ink of various colors. Not too difficult. Using the Glossy Accents like Tim uses in his video, add the large Fragment to the paper! An edging of ink dots and dashes finished it!

Happy Easter from the little bunnies!
From all the little Easter Egg Hunt kids!
They did share with everyone...
The oldest grandkids came by later for mug shots with their Art Projects that they both made...they wanted to look like they were in a lineup picture...cute...cuz I MADE them let me take their pictures!!! We all had a great time..at 9:30pm the dad on the steps called. The youngest, Emma, sneaked some gum from big sis's room, and fell asleep with it...the quarter size glob was right by her ear. If you ever need to know this...peanut butter dissolved it!!! And the blond hair was saved!!!!
Glorious Easter to you all!

Blending tool tower
Ever go shopping and leave your terrific buys...Tim Holtz stamps, new papers, metal leaves, beads, etc, etc, etc in your friend's car who lives 75 minutes away?!?!?!? ONLY me!!!!
Wendy has my stuff!!!!! boo hoo. I'll get it next Saturday, but what a dunce.....this way I won't be tempted to play instead of getting ready for our classes in St. Louis. I will have already started shopping by the time I get there!!! How does that sound for trying to be upbeat????
Where is Spring....does anyone know?

House of Grunge
This is the results of my fun day, playing with a cute house and Grungeboard. I call it my House of Grunge. No stamps..hard to believe.... just acrylic paint, grungeboard, pigment inks, Distress Embossing powder, and some Antiquities. The roof comes off of this paper mache' house...so you can store your "door prizes" inside. You see where I'm going with this St. Louis people?!?!
Fun way to spend a cold and rainy day....and dinner out...works for me!!!

TAGGED AGAIN !!!!
I have been tagged by the tremendously talented Catherine Matthews-Scanlon author of Art with a Heart. I am sharing 7 weird Facts about me or things that I know about.....So, if you were tagged, here's what you have {well, you don't have to, but it's fun to..he he!} 1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog. 2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird. 3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs. 4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
1. In winter I go to bed with socks on, but can only stand them for a few minutes. I then push them off and over the side of the bed, otherwise you have 7 pairs of socks in the end of your sheets by washday!
2. I was a speed skater as a kid...I won a few, too.
3. I lived at the foot of the Garden of the Gods for 9 months in a motel!
4. My 1st job, as a teenage, was as a clothing model for a lady who sold high-end clothing in her home!
5. I retired at the age of 49 after 30 years at the phone company.
6. I once tried to dye my hair ash blonde and it turned green...lovely.
7. I dropped my son off at a new friends house, and reached down to pick something up off the car floor. The car was in gear and my foot slipped off the brake, hitting their garage door, and knocking it off the track. Way to go MOM!
Frannie-Jewelry Artist. Lori Roberts-altered artist. Wendy- Maya Road DT member.! Kim Logan-wonderful stuff! Jen Crossley-unbelievably beautiful art! Kelsey-amazing Aussie gal! Rande Hanson-mixed-media/collage artist!
Sorry ladies, but you do inspire me...play if you like, if not, hey, know you are admired!

Antiquing and Eating!
Anyway, found a great junk shop, and I mean, junk....you need a tetanus shot to roam around in there, but it was soooooo cool. I loved it. And I found several antique pieces, and replicas of old keyholes that the guy put in a patina mix for me there! They really turned out great! What a guy!
Dinner with several desserts for everyone, and home~sweet~home. A good day was had by all......

The House in is the Mail!
It's not a check, but it is a house. I mailed Suse's house off today. I had emailed her and asked if there was one in particular she would like, and she chose the one with the transparency of the baby in it. My choice, too. So, it's off to England. Wish it was me.....maybe another day.
Everyone, be good to each other, and CREATE!

And the WINNER IS!!!
We decided to draw at noon today when my 3 yr old granddaughter Emma came over! And she picked out Suse's name!!! YEAH!!!!! Yes mine is the one with the green star in the top row with the dots. They seem to be my favorite thing to do with edges. Let me know where to send your house, Suse, and congratulations! Thanks to everyone who played. It's so fun to read comments from everyone. The other house that was often guessed is by my friend Cecile in Ohio. She is coming to our classes in St. Louis so you can meet her there!
Thanks again....and several have sent email asking where to get the houses by Collections. They are from an Australian business, and I have passed along your interest to her. I will let you know if they become available in the US.
