My friend S gave me this used expresso machine. A friend was moving or something. I had fun trying it. Daughter L suggested I use a denture tablet to clean it out first. So after watching a few youtube videos on how to operate the machine, I ran the machine 3 times until the water ran clear.
I made this frothy cappuccino and it was delicious. The machine has a frothing wand pictured at the right of the machine.
Next time I will use distilled water, as I heard it makes good espresso.

Oh, I love a good frothing wand! This looks fun. I haven't used mine in quite a while since it takes us more space on my counter..and well, I already have too much on my counter. So great to make your own expresso.

Espresso is wonderful and you can conjure up so many types of coffee with it...
Nice gift. I have a single cup regular coffee machine. I had one that did four cups but it gave out so I got the single and its great for just me. That way I don't waste coffee. I am however thinking of getting another one for my desk at work...

Maybe that is why distilled water is becoming so difficult to find. People are cleaning their espresso machines. You need to learn to make those cute images in the froth.
